AyrExile
Fair dos to Dundee. Perhaps broken a few unofficial agreements and trust along the way which ain’t good. Pleased their actions are highlighting the utter incompetence that runs Scottish football. Also stopping a rushed deal for up to 28 days that was all about denying other clubs the time to make an informed decision is laughable. Now listening to the concern for other clubs some chairman are showing when their own voting didn’t reflect that whatsoever. Hopefully good can come from this whole sorry mess with Doncaster and the likes being sent on their bike
UpInTheAyr
Their will be a round of applause tonight at 8 to honour Dundee FC and their selfless sacrifice. If you can all remember to stand outside your homes for it.

It's absolutely the worst time as any sort of proposal is being based on a short term basis, as a way to sort out this season and be able to move on to the next one. Too many concessions will be made as too many clubs are in a precarious position that can easily be manipulated or taken advantage of. Some clubs would agree to any old shit just now if it means they can get essential, club saving money just now, and there's absolutely no doubt some better off clubs would make things more favourable for themselves. Reconstruction needs to be a long term thing that is genuinely in the best interests of all 42 clubs. We need as many clubs as possible to be in a stable, secure position so that they can discuss proposals that aren't a short term fix and where clubs are not in a position that they can be easily coerced. Top 16, Championship 16 and league one 16. No relegation, promote all in play-off positions including Highland/Lowland league. Relegate 4 and promote 2 the following two seasons. Next season cant over-run because of the Euros, The following year a world cup to accommodate. We don't know when next season will start. One of the projections from this week was October. So we either reconstruct now or end up gubbing 3 seasons for not doing it.

How on earth is 2 leagues of 16 a better way forward? what an absolutely shit product that would be, although only 2 sevco/Celtic games would reduce domestic violence etc to be fair.

Mark Connolly
I surely can't be the only one starting to hope Dundee's volcano insurance turns out to be totally and hilariously worthless.

Changing situation day by day so might be able to tell better in a few weeks time. We should also be looking for direction from some of the other footballing countries and not just our tinpot governing body
