My last word on it! So no colour coded spreadsheets either then? What are we going to talk about for the next year while we wait for the football to start?

CM.
Folk moaning about travelling have seen nothing yet. Just wait till a team reaches League 2 or above with potential away days like Peterhead, Cove, Elgin, Stranraer

Hands_Free
It was good to see the new conferences posted tonight & with new times, there is always some excitement. Not sure if this has been discussed lots or not but in 15/16 team conferences with only one up (subject to change of course) and no relegation, there are going to be far too many meaningless games for most teams, that is fact. Some teams will have nothing to play for other than professional pride from as early as October.
GordonS
I don't understand the moaning about travel in the conferences. The previous four divisions were based on geography were they? Any team could have ended up in a division with a lot of travel if the teams in their local area were in different divisions at the time. It's just the way it goes.

Positions 2 to 5 will presumably qualify for the West Championship / tier 7 league in the following season. If clubs decide to have tiers 8 and 9 like before (instead of regional leagues) for 2021-22 then positions 6 to 10/11 would qualify for West League One / tier 8.

Potentially also 7th to 11th tier 8 and 12th down tier 9. Or may just be 7th down in tier 8 and split into North / South or East / West. So will be a lot to play for other than just conference winners.

That was what happened with Giffnock's ground at St Ninians where the club were expected to raise 25-30k (think they were the figures going about at the time). St Cadocs definitely have a fairly solid cash flow as is. Obviously, a difference is that there was no playing field at that plot in St Ninians which meant it was considerably more expensive to clear a whole wooded area. In any case, I don't think Crookfur gets much use. I've refereed in the area for 5 years and that's basically the only park I've never been at.m

That would give a Tier 7 with 19 teams in Season #2! as at least 3 teams will be relegated from Tier 6 at the end of Season#1 (and possibly as many as 5 or 7 teams ). The overall pattern will depend on what final structure it's decided to work towards, and what process & timescale will be used to achieve it. There are likely to be 3/5/7 teams relegated from Tier 6 depending on if they try to get the Tier 6 Premier 20/18/16 teams. 2nd-5th in the Conferences would leave you with 12 teams before adding any of those relegated Tier 6 teams.

AsimButtHitsASix
North Caledonian League, a league a lot of folk on here have ripped the pish out of, said it doesn't deserve to be at tier 6 (where it looks like it will join) has over five hours travel for some away games. South of Scotland League, a league of folk on here have ripped the pish out of, said it doesn't deserve to be at tier 6, has over two hours travel for a fair few teams. These same folk are now in the huff because some clubs have to travel slightly over an hour once or twice a year. For one year only.
