The Dundee United Thread 22/23

Agree, shows how far we’ve fallen when there appears to be no talk even of Fox getting the boot.  To put up such a weak showing in both cup competitions against a very poor side is just disgraceful.  Losing 4 in a row also unacceptable.  Go now you uninspiring, out of your depth, tactically inept, clueless twat.

No chance Fox goes. He'll not resign because he'll lose his payoff.

And what would sacking him say about our Sporting Director? Two managers punted either side of a transfer window we've just fucked...then onto the search for a third manager in one season!?

I'd have both of them collecting their things in a carrier bag and roll them down Arkley Street in a shopping trolley. We'd only need one trolley I suppose, one would roll well enough on his own.

He was an abject failure the first time. There is no reason to give him another shot.

Please don't even fucking joke about that c**t coming back.

Why did Ian McCall cross the road?

Cos quadruple-chin had an idea.

Was McCalls last game in charge if United not a 5-2 loss at Killie with fat Boyd scoring all 5.

McCall would clearly be a bizarre appointment for Dundee United, still absolutely fucking miles ahead of Fox though….

I'm miles ahead of Fox but that doesn't mean I'd be a good manager.

You don’t overly need a good manager to stay up, just not someone who is absolutely shite…

I s’pose it comes down to whether your only option to replace Fox is a cheap option until the end of the season.

You do realise Fox was the cheap option already...

I don't trust a single person at Tannadice to pick a good manager though, that's the biggest problem.

The Gold series on bbc 1, written by Neil Forsyth who hails from the ferry and was involved in utd fanzine way back. 2/3  subtle references to utd during the series though unspoken but visual. Spotted 2 so far out of 5 series, any more??
Also did Bob Servant starring our very own Brian Cox.

Clearly Neils doing well for himself and obviously still an arab!

Next 5 games.

Thoughts and predictions?

Think we'll get 6 points out of this in a WDDLD configuration. But could easily see us losing v The Maureen's and Fermers. I have zero hope and zero expectation.

Booooo.
