Gaz
Fairly straightforward, but what is your favourite ever film, and why? By 'favourite' it doesn't have to be considered 'best', or 'critically acclaimed', just your favourite. A film you could watch again and again. I'll start: Jurassic Park. One of my fondest memories is my Dad taking me to see this in 1993 when it came out. It was at the old Cannon cinema in Falkirk (might have been the ABC by then), which had only three screens. We had to queue for over two hours to wait on the other showings finishing and the queue went all the way round to the old JobCentre. I got it on video as soon as it was released, read the book and was utterly engrossed. I could quote it off by heart. The CGI still holds up brilliantly, their decision not to go with AAA+ actors paid off brilliantly as it ensured the dinosaurs remained the centre of attention, the pacing and tension is brilliant. It's the perfect movie. What's yours?

Mark Connolly
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Han Solo and James Bond fight Nazis. How can anything be better than that?

tongue_tied_danny
Thunderbolt & Lightfoot Clint Eastwood and Jeff Bridges are pretty cool, the pace of the movie is just right and the scenery is beautiful.
Raidernation
Changes depending on mood/ circumstances but I’ll go for “Diamonds are Forever” because my Dad took us to the pictures to see it when it came out.

DA Baracus
I once saw Jurassic Park on a big outdoor screen in the (big) Asda carpark in Dunfermline. Was too busy trying to (unsuccessfully) fire in to my friend's sister to appreciate it. Had seen it before then of course. Absolutely great film, and great book too. Anyway, mine is The Empire Strikes Back. I'm a huge Star Wars fan, and this is the best Star Wars film. I love everything about it. The aesthetics, the music, the story, the characters.
supermik
Commando. Big Arnie flexing his muscles and full of absolutely stupid one liners. What’s not to like. Honourable mentions also go to any of the old Hammer house of Horror films and the Ealing comedies of the past. The two main Bond girls both had connections to Robert Wagner. Plenty O'Toole was played by Lana Wood, sister of Wagner's then ex and future wife Natalie Wood, and Jill St John, who played Tiffany Case, would marry Wagner after Natalie Wood's death, and is still married to him, clearly having never gone yachting together.

Ludo*1
I have 3 that are interchangeable depending on my mood. The Godfather - Best film ever made IMO and I know that's a cliche and open for ridicule on here. Casino & Goodfellas are the other two. Today it's Casino.

No relation to Ian I believe.
