Do we have anything to worry about regarding Nir Bitton testing positive for COVID 2 days after playing against us? Could do without a Czech Republic scenario tbh.

Not sure, I’m sure all involved in the squad, players, manager, all the rest of the staff are tested often, so you’d think if anything was awry, it would’ve shown up by now?

No. I'm pretty certain that opposition players on the pitch don't count as contacts, and since changing facilities are seperate, none of our squad would qualify as a close contact of him.

Dykes noticeably won quite a few balls to knock down to someone the other night. If we're going two upfront I'd rather Shankland be on the end of said knockdowns that McBurnie.

Or Griffith’s if fit and playing. At the end of last season Celtic went to 3-5-2 with Griffith’s and Edouard up front and they played some nice stuff together, really nice 1-2’s etc. Not saying Dykes is in the same class as Edouard but it would be good to see how they played together.

Pretty certain Griffiths won't be playing tomorrow.

He isn't in the squad for one.

True, was thinking about future games. Tomorrow Shankland ahead of McBurnie if 2 up front

If Griffiths is playing and scoring then definitely get him for future squads.

After the Israel vs Czech Rep. game tomorrow the Czech players will be going back to Prague before they come to Scotland. They'll get tested there first and if there's any issues then we'll be playing a similar team to last month again.
They've been preparing a 2nd team for our game since this morning.

You wouldn't notice cause you're an idiot, but Shankland showed a couple of things that indicated he was miles out of his depth the other night.  One in particular, right after he came on, we had a throw in about 20 yards from their goal on the left hand side.

Thrower only had two options, of them Shankland, he just stood there for fucking ages not moving at all staring at the thrower giving him no option at all.  The other guy put loads of effort in to make up for Shankland doing nothing, made a run behind him, got the ball, moved it on, then on camera you saw him turn and give Shankland fuckin dogs abuse.  Would be worth watching again. He's not an international footballer.

It might have been McGinn can't remember.

If players are not International footballers due to lack of positional awareness or movement.  f**k me we're dropping our captain and the whole midfield must never play again.

Also thank f**k we have the lowest paid player in the squad marshaling our defence as Cooper and McTominay have questionable positional awareness too 😂

That's not positional awareness, its a simple throw in.  You have to actually move to give an option, he didn't seem to understand that.

I said positional awareness or movement. Yes, and you need to move to be available for a throw-in.  You know when else you need to make movement to make yourself available, when your defenders have the ball and are looking for a pass.  Get f**k all of that from our midfield.

They've been preparing a 2nd team for our game since this morning.

The following players from the original squad didn't travel to Israel.

Goalkeepers
Pavlenka (Werden Bremen), Kolar (Sparta Prague)

Defenders
Novak (Fenerbahce)

Midfielders
Dockal (Sparta Prague), Jankto (Sampdoria), Kopic (Viktoria Plzen), Barak (Verona), Hlozek (Sparta Prague)

Strikers
Krmencik (Club Brugge), Schick (RB Leipzig)

If allowed this will be the 18 man squad coming to Glasgow

If not then they've got a reserve team of Czech based players on standby

Head in my hands at folk wanting to change 7 players cause they're bored. We need to get our strongest XI on the park and win this game. If we finish top of this group we are set up for years, both in terms of seeding and future playoffs. Get Considine to f**k, and let's not give a goalkeeper "a rest".

Considine's the best defender available.
