Finished the half much better.

The defensive shape is legitimately good when Hanley isn't charging about the place (which to be fair, he's doing less of in the last 20 mins). Packing the centre of the box and stopping them getting any really good chances.

Going forward though there are two positions that are just clear deficiencies. O'Donnell is a mile off it at this level - his brain is just half a second slower than everyone elses. Constantly playing the wrong passes. Alaba isn't concerned about him at all and is given him yards of space, because he knows when O'Donnell gets it he'll f**k it up somehow.

Dykes is working hard, but his touch isn't there tonight. Matter of time until Adams replaces him.

Two better players on the bench. Get Palmer and Adams on,  Clarke!

You're seeing what you want to see bud.

Been faultless so far.
Tbf Hendry isn't our problem (so far). Hanley is flying about like he wants an early bath. Dykes looks well off it, but isn't well served without more pace around him (a few forward balls in that first half that he had no chance of getting onto the end of - if it was Fraser, it might have been a different story).

McTominay has been brilliant in the midfield...glad we haven't dropped him back to defence again. Hendry has looked pretty solid too. Ended the half strong so need to start second half in the same way. Need more support in and around Dykes

We're still level and growing into the game. Happy with that.

Unless the keeper fancies passing the ball to us in the penalty box again we'll need to take a gamble to get in behind at some point though, whether it's pushing Tierney up or getting Fraser on.

Ryan Crispy has got to score that chance that was gifted to us. Certainly grew in to the game and started asking them questions after a poor start. Think it’s just a case of keep it going and put them under pressure as they are prone to mistakes. Shocked how much joy O’Donnell can get over Alaba.
