Tranent voted the same as we did when we first joined the SFLL last year, a resounding no to the B teams, hence the reason Hearts cancelled a pre season game we had with them at Foresters beginning of season 2022-23.

Our stance hasn't changed in the last twelve months.

SPFL rules prevent B teams from taking part in their league.

I have doubts this so called Conference League was taken seriously by Lowland League clubs, those involved with the clubs would have more insider knowledge than we do as P&B contributors and the deal made for another season was very likely due to B teams ticking the boxes of acceptancy from those individual clubs, no surprise much of that would have involved financial gain.

This looks more and more like clubs becoming reliant on this windfall which is a concern. I would say a the promotion/relegation too and from the Lowland League should be a huge issue in that the whole purpose of the pyramid which the Lowland League was formed for in the first place was for clubs to find 'their natural level'. This one up one down among member clubs in a sixteen club league is a joke, it should be three up and three down and this would speed up the less need for B' teams to throw money around to control and influence member clubs. It is a situation that will be fixed in time once enough decent size clubs come up bringing their supporters and the league has less of a quality gap between top and bottom and the clubs who have B' teams in the LL surely know this, but f**k its going to take a long time.

Actually although I would like to see B' teams to get to f**k out of the pyramid. The pain that especially the fake Rangers who have made the most noises about the LL not being the standard level they want their precious young future stars to play at is rather pleasing. Gives me a warm fuzzy feeling knowing they still have to play in the LL another season especially when they couldn't even win this league that they were supposed to cruise and win by twenty points, where did it all go wrong?.

Just absolute pure entitlement with nothing to back up why they should be anywhere near the SPFL.

Apologies SLFL, typo error.

Pathetic from the LL clubs (except from the 5 good guys of course).

Truly depressing that the 5th tier (or half of it anyway) is in such a state. So much potential there for an excellent league of relatively big clubs - by lower league Scottish standards anyway.

But instead it's being used as an opportunity for the big clubs kids to play glorified friendlies.

It's not everyone else's responsibility to develop their youth players. Maybe don't hover up all the youth talent if you know full well you won't ever be able to give them much game time or proper development in or around the first team in the years where it really matters.

How about we look at how we improve youth coaching and player development across the board? Instead of shoehorning kids teams into a pyramid that should be designed to reward ambitious clubs.

Is it likely abstention was either Spartans or Dalbeattie?

From what's left either or both Cowdenbeath and Berwick have voted in favour which is very disappointing.

Cap dothed to @Pyramid Watcher And his fellow braves.
