I don’t know what’s more infuriating, this obvious argument to deflect from the Tory corruption or the fact he’s been an MSP for 20 years without any real direct accountability from voters

They think their voters are complete fucking idiots with the attention spans of brain damaged goldfish. Which is fair.

He's obviously just trying to distract from the Russian money flowing into London and the Conservative Party coffers, but surely any country not directly allied with the UK would be happy with parts breaking away? Just for the lulz, if nothing else.

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2022/mar/03/gavin-williamson-awarded-knighthood-by-boris-johnson

"Boris Johnson has awarded a knighthood to Gavin Williamson, who was sacked as defence secretary for allegedly leaking secure information before presiding over a series of exams debacles as education secretary."

The moral of this tale is obviously that if you suck your boss's cock long enough and hard enough, you'll get your (un)just reward.

Toryc*nts.

I know in the great scheme of things it's not a biggie, but FFS....

Ex-education secretary Gavin Williamson given a knighthood after being sacked twice

....I suppose a life on the gravy train awaits.

And yet there are many, many people in Scotland quite happy to continue a political union with these people.  It’s utterly depressing.

Honestly thought that I had perhaps mistakenly read that late last night on Twitter, but no! Incredibly it’s true. Twice sacked with a terrible track record in office, but rewarded and bestowed with a title of ‘honour and privilege’. It would be funny if this recognition wasn’t such an appalling lack of judgement.

Looks like there is going to be an announcement to celebrate Lizzie's platinum jubilee about a new royal yacht such a great look when lots of people will have to decide between food or heat

Kwasi Kwarteng saying we all want to do our bit for Ukraine so can just suck up the cost of living crisis while they announce an ocean going gin palace is quite the mood.

How long would it take to build a new one? Better go for something she can use straight away.

They can shove that one all the way up their collective arses. Stand in front of a crowd and explain why this is such a good idea when cost of living is going through the roof and we have a major crisis in Ukraine.  Explain why Lizzie cannot pay for it herself and exactly how often it will be used and what are the running costs for such an unnecessary extravagance?

f**k me there's a fair amount of buyers remorse out there these days.

Well done to the shills and Boris leg-humpers saying we only need grown ups in charge now there's a big scary war on. Arseholes.

Iain Martin doing a full "maybe Brexit is a shit idea" the other day was quite something too.
