Starmer would be better calling for an Inquiry though - amazing how many got that wrong earlier this year with the Inquiries into Scottish Gov handling of the Salmond case.

Better still, call for one much sooner looking into all the PPE contracts

Okay, point taken but....

Quote

Traditionally, enquire simply meant “ask,” while inquire was used for formal investigations. In the UK, the two words are used interchangeably, although inquire is still the more commonly used word for formal or official investigations.

And therefore the UK. Eat your cereal.

What Lambie said was that the uk will return a tory government forever

That is factually incorrect as the wording implies  that the uk as a whole would return a tory government when in fact Scotland has not voted for a tory majority since 1955.

Why would a sensible Scot vote for a corrupt, immoral, sleaze ridden party such as the fraudulent tories.

Only a self aggrandising idiot with no morals or care for his fellow men and women would.

Nationality aside, no sane voter would vote for a party which openly trampled all over his or her best interests. Unfortunately, I am forced to conclude that sane voters form a smaller portion of the English electorate than idiots, cűnts and stupid cűnts.

Well if you're getting into semantics it's factually correct as the UK as a whole is returning a Tory majority with no polling to suggest that's going to change.

I know what you're saying because we have Labour and SNP minority governments in Wales and Scotland respectively, ignoring whatever absurd crackpots the bunfields are into but the fact remains the UK will remain a Tory hellhole as long as we're part of it.

I was reading an article on the Hartlepool by election that said Hartlepool had been deeply affected by austerity in the last decade and voters that were interviewed complained about the loss of public services.

They were still going to vote Tory though. Apparently the local Tory mayor had been doing quite a good job there in softening the effects of his own party's policies.

Able uk spent $50 million developing one of the largest dry docks at the north end of Hartlepool in Seaton, it is specifically designed for decommissioning rigs and paltforms which have spent their working lives in the Scottish North Sea, it employs hundreds of workers.

This is unfair. 40+% of the electorate happily voted for this just under a year and a half ago.
Indeed. Seem to recall Jeremy Corbyn literally showing these intentions to journalists and the media. The electorate still voted for it.

And the big scandal was where he'd obtained the documents from.
