Looks like the cyber attacks have taken it down (that or my dodgy Internet is being shite again).

Peter Zeihan has a short video up on the situation. I don't always agree with him, but he is good at getting to the core of things and explaining them simply. A decent watch regardless of your (ig)norance level.

I sometimes need to try it twice, but it has always worked after a minute https://liveuamap.com/

If this Telegraph article is true, the West have next to no leverage with sanctions. Its only suggestion is upping military expenditure to guard the ramparts. Depressing stuff.

There was (at least) a 22 minute queue for Flight Radar earlier on.
A Radar hasn’t seen such traffic since Ever Given.

Aye noticed that. Was wondering if it was St Petersburg's Internet Research Agency's first move in the cyber war. Excitable times.

The SWIFT point in that article is undeniably true. SWIFT enables dollar hegemony. Russia leaving it hurts the USA which is why they didn't do it.

Lol at Biden saying Putin wants to bring back the Soviet Union.

There's also been a rush by some old style tankies to act as apologists for Putin

Saw one post from an ex-FB acquaintance praising the Russians of Donbas gaining their independence.

The same poster opposes Scottish Independence.

Some on the left need to take a good hard look at themselves here and recognise that this invasion does no favours for the ordinary Ukrainians and Russians.

There is absolutely *nothing* the FBPE melts won't link to Brexit. What a take on from this whole saga.

Whisper it: Putin doesn't give a single shit about the UK being in the EU or not.

I'm sure he had a small vodka to celebrate when we left.

Putin isn’t a drinking man.
