Ro Sham Bo
A red card looks a good bet the way this is going.

Exactly what I came on to post, it's the players causing the problems, not the ref.
peasy23
As Xhaka just demonstrates the very point with another daft yellow.
Zetterlund
Is the Barclays the worst league in the world for play-acting? I thought the World Cup was refreshing for the lack of it, but since getting back to business I've found it very frustrating to watch. Players rolling around clutching their ankle for minor fouls has always happened, but now it seems there literally can't be any challenge without it. Bring back the days when the league was full of good honest lads, occasionally spoiled by dirty cheating foreigners.
Chewing Taffies
I am enjoying the game in terms of it has a bit of bite. But the ref is spoiling it by showing the yellow for every challenge. If he keeps his cards in his pocket, guys won't dive as much and we have a much more entertaining game. Doesn't help that Arteta is gesturing for a card for every challenge as well.
craigkillie
Which of the yellow card decisions in particular do you think were unjustified? Two of them were for wild lunges and two were for pulling back guys on the break.
Ro Sham Bo
Surely Lampard will be punted by Everton soon.
Chewing Taffies
The pulling guys back on the break are justified and very frustrating when they are not punished - which happens a lot. Pretty sure Xaka wasn't punished for a second one. The "wild" lunges were as wild as a night out with craigkillie I would imagine. Plenty of similar challenges have gone unpunished and rightly so.
Iminavest
I have no great feelings for or against arsenal but it would be hilarious to see them bottle it just for the reaction of the moron Merson.
accies1874
My stream randomly started showing five seconds of last night's Liverpool game on repeat which was far more enjoyable than this utter garbage from Everton

ClathyDave
Lampard has to get the boot after this. I used to like Everton, but seeing Pickford greet is pleasing

He'll have some credit in the bank from how he helped galvanise the club towards the end of last season, but this side is absolutely diabolical, albeit not helped by some not-so-good recruitment. The way he's going, it'll be too far gone for any galvanisation to mean anything. Of course, the club is also run by complete charlatans who need to go with Lampard.
8MileBU
Hoping Everton getting an absolute spanking results in scenes and police as the natives go absolutely mental at the final whistle. -
