The Big Queen's Park FC Thread

No news about Lesser? Or any announcements on where the team will play should they win their next game?

Massive fixture tomorrow, really hope QP do it, but I'm not hopeful given recent form. Still, Dundee not on top of their game, either. The fact that QP must win it should make it quite a spectacle. Lots of scope for players on both teams to make a name for themselves, too.

Interesting article with OC suggesting Dundee has a premiership playing budget that is 3 to 4 times larger than any other team.  The mind games begin!

It's sad to see Queens fans crying all over the Championship forum about fans of other clubs commenting. You were very, very hospitable when fans were wishing you luck. Heck, you were never off other clubs topics giving it big licks.

Now your arses have collapsed (collectively) and it's all woe is me. Saddening.

A rich exchange of views is more than welcome.  It's only the fuds who are a problem. And some fuds are fuddier than others. And some teams have some serious fuds who can't help themselves being the fuddest.

That can't be right surely, as it's been widely reported and backed up that our budget is comparable only to the top six of the EPL

Is it correct that Lesser Hampden will only have a capacity of around 1700 when complete?

I like seeing new teams in the top flight as opposed to yo-yo clubs like Dundee and Hearts but a 1700 stadium in the premiership is a bit grim

Well done if you get the job done though this evening

Good luck this evening spiders,  hope you can pull it off, for a few reasons,,   firstly Messrs Coyle and Stewart both Airdrie legends and general good guys,  and reminiscing here when I was based in Weirs as a Yopper (YTS) I used to frequent an eerily quiet Hampden on occasion (88-89) and watch the likes of Monaghan(gk),  Ogg, Elder, Caven, Hendry and not too forget the sloth....( Cannot remember the rest) and then get pished on 4 points of cider at JJ Booths and The Village before the long trek home....  Alright enough of that nostalgia nonsense..

If Queens do pull it off , the gnashing of teeth and seethe at the top table will be great to watch,  what rule will they bring out,  stadium,  what stadium,  if so not enough seats for the arsecheeks.  D uddee, Killie, Ross County will b dusting off the old S PL rulebook to see if they can twist the rules to save their sorry skins..

as Adriene famously said to her man.  " WIN"

Not when complete. This phase was supposed to include the south stand which was 500 and that would come up to that number. It’s an abeyance waiting on the outcome of our season. Beyond that, the biggest area is behind the north end and there’s also some space on the west side too which they’ve still to figure out. Around 4000 when/if all that comes in. Tidy for the Championship but well short for the Premiership, or at least the top half.

A separate warning to Dundee fans to not go on the pitch but not the same to Queen's...

Shiting it, IMO

Message for Queen’s Park and Dundee fans
Please come along and enjoy the game and get behind your team. Please also act within the Stadium Rules and do not encroach on the pitch at any time.
