Kieran has a job to do to bring sponsors and hospitality in and does it very well. My problem is that the club communicates the bare minimum about the footballing side. We were recently in Belfast for a training camp. Nothing. We had a game yesterday and the Strollers played on Friday (I refuse to call them Queen’s Park B, as if we’re Real fucking Madrid.) Nothing. We have two games a week on Saturday. One is supposed to be the Strollers against Albion Rovers and the other is against Thorn Athletic. We don’t know if we can actually attend any of these games or if the latter is the first team or 19s. Suspect the latter, but who knows? None of this is asking a lot. Anyway, I hope the blazers looking in enjoyed their view of the game yesterday. As long as they know what’s happening, that’s all that matters.

It is such an iconic name and strip in Scottish football Also, queen 's fans are very like us firhill lot in many ways. Very welcoming to visitors and mightily proud of our clubs' place in football folklore. So, wish you well this coming season and looking forward to some good natured banter and friendly derby day rivalry.. Well said. Got good friends and relatives who are Thistle fans and I enjoy the trips to the West End. The wagers over the match results got a bit expensive for me last season though. Think I will be a bit more circumspect this season, particularly given our lack of signings.

We're not going to win the league, but I don't think we'll come last either. imo a lot of this crap is people who couldn't name any player in the qp starting 11 other than Paton, and think that we're a one man team held up by him. Also, am I the only one here that thinks Thistle aren't good enough to win the league? Any time I saw them play last season they looked as crap as we did, only with a bit more sense in the first 3 games (last one we really should have won). Maybe signings will make a big difference I suppose Anyway, the point is I'm hoping we can finish a comfortable 6th-ish and tell the "glasgow gretna", "no fans", "amateur outfit", "banter club" etc wankers to f**k off again Yikes just read this back Don't post on p&b at 1am after enduring a rant from a Morton-supporting relative guys Sorry about that...

Anonymous Spider
Tommy Robson pitching up at Clyde not a transfer I saw coming - helluva signing for them.
Anonymous Spider
Actually, while we're on left backs... Cammy Bruce to Airdrie (sorry if this was covered at the time)... wtf is that about?
QPEast
How many posts about a nonsense friendly is too many posts? Just fill the stadium with Celtic fans and be done with it. Its clear Queen’s Park fans couldn't care less about it.

Is Bruce decent, we have Mason Hancock in front of him who is excellent, wouldn't think he would have signed if not guaranteed some sort of game time.... A weird signing unless of.course Hancock is getting sold which their was rumours of..
Spider Rico
The general sales (I.e not renewals) of season tickets is meant to open on Thursday this week………but it wasn’t mentioned in the week ahead. Does that suggest more stadium related nonsense on the way?
CAL FERRIE IN GOALS
Is anyone going to the Celtic friendly, I’ve missed out on a ticket so I’ll likely pitch up on the hill beside lesser

If you had gone bust, folk would be saying it was a crying shame because you showed the English how to play. Sit back and read your copy of Invert The Pyramid by Jonathan Wilson if it's getting to you. From the Thistle perspective, I am feeling positive because we are seeing things happen. None of us know how the new season will go, but the manager and club can create a vibe. Callum Davidson comes across as sound and I enjoyed his slots on Sportsound. Hopefully, the club can get him a few more players to work with. Good luck. Edited July 8 by Red Kite
