Rewarding Mr. Loyalty & Ms. Security Risk must raise questions about his political nous.

Oh, and it didn't take long for "a cabinet of the talents" to fall apart.

I’m certainly in a minority of one on here, but I applaud from the rafters people who have made a success of their lives and have become very rich as a consequence. Let’s have more Dysons, Ratcliffs and the rest. Okay, some will be a bit dodgy but we also get a fair share of dodgy teachers and public servants.

Did Sunak not inherit his original wealth? (Not that there's much wrong with that, but his is hardly a rags to riches tale. Riches to even more riches, more like.)

Looks like Jack remaining at Scottish Office.

The Rt Hon Penny Mordaunt MP

has been re-appointed as Lord President of the Council, and Leader of the House of Commons

WOW - first major snub of the reshuffle, no promotion for Penny Mordaunt. She stays as Leader of the Commons.

Interesting that guy Andrew? From the north east seemed to be going balls out to get in.

Seeing Sunak reappoint Badenoch and Bravermen just makes your realise how grim the Tories are

Suella Braverman as the actual Home Secretary. Again. I had low expectations, but fucking Hell.

Not surprising. There’s no new “talent”. There’s no fresh blood. This isn’t a new government. It’s a reshuffle in which the leader has also been replaced with an old face.

Absolutely bizarre that she admitted to breaking the law and before an investigation has even begun is back incharge or law and order.

The idea that Sunak 'handled' the pandemic well, because he brought a few folk their dinner in a swanky restaurant for a photo opportunity and of course 'the furlough' scheme. He was still a senior member of a govt which oversaw the highest death rate in Europe, was woefully unprepared with PPE for health staff, handed money to their own pals for dodgy contracts which failed sent, sent patients with Covid back into care homes...the list goes on. His hands weren't clean of any of it.

A seriously dodgy character who has so obviously greased the right palms politically to get to where he is.The same multi-millionaire who next week will no doubt tell us we are all 'in this together' as he joyfully slashes investment from crucial public services

Meanwhile this afternoon, sacked Rees Mogg has been quietly pushing through the Retained EU Law (Revocation and Reform) Bill in the House of Commons, which will abruptly end many workers rights, environmental protections, road safety, food security, aircraft safety, cancer-causing ingredients in cosmetics etc and many other health protections unless all the 2.5 thousand regulations are examined, considered by parliament and individually put back into law  before the end of 2023.

"This government will have integrity and professionalism"

*Immediately reappoints Cruella who resigned last week for fucking security breaches in the Home Office*

This government will have deceit and cronyism. Same as the last 15 or whatever Tory goverments we've had in the last few years.

A confidential draft version of a document for Cabinet release only to somebody outside the government, that's why she used he private account. You can only hope that the conditions for getting the job back were letting Rwanda quietly disappear and never again to mention the words "woke" or "Tofu".
