Alibi
I'm hearing our groundsman Mark Farrell, custodian of one of the best playing surfaces in Scotland, is currently repainting the touchlines a couple of metres further in just to annoy that bunch of latte-drinking chartered accountants.

Just back from the MCT Stadium Management group meeting. Realising the importance of giving visiting teams a fair chance and considering PT are likely to still be playing in the Championship next season I was instructed to seek quotations from contractors for jacking up the Cowshed and moving it 5m towards the river. Initial contractor responses have indicated while they are able to complete works by Saturday they are unable to source a turf supplier who has Firhill grade turf is stock. I think it's just another Covid excuse.

If I hadn't already known from your username that you were a Pertyck fan that post would've given the game away. Wot a load of guff.

Virtual Insanity
It's getting to the stage of wanting to lose so that we can punt McCall and give someone like Imrie a shot to see if they can make the step up.

I think if Imrie goes anywhere (and he's going nowhere any time soon), it won't be to a club in the third tier, which seems to be where you're heading on current form.
Pie Of The Month
It gives an insight into the grim lives of the fans of the opposition when the fanciest thing they could think of for the stereotype of our support is drinking a latte. What next? Having central heating?

milhouse
Certainly a good chance for Greenock to claim a scalp on Saturday, usually a cup tie feeling down there when Thistle come calling. Greenock have been a banana skin for the Jags a few times over the years. Imrie seems to have done OK for Greenock so far, but it's a good point to make whether he could make the step up to manage a bigger team like Thistle, with a bigger support and more of a standing in Scottish football? Thistle_do_nicely
Earlier in the season there was a bit of confidence and we were at least good at keeping hold of the ball even under some pressure; as the confidence has eroded theres been noticeably more and more panicky clearances/long balls to nobody. If Morton get their pressing right (its probably all they really even have to do, we'll contrive to give away a soft goal from a cross at some point) we'll get nothing from this. I'd probably stop with the inside forward faffery at this point tbh, get tiffoney/fitzpatrick (assuming hes match ready by now!?) right side and lawless down the left w/ mcmillan and milne supporting *on paper* should create chances for dowds/graham and someone like turner or mckinnon from midfield. Paisley Ton
Well we seem to be in good shape for this one. By all accounts PT have injury issues, form issue and a plank of a manager (general PT fan assessment) So proverbial bannana skin from us, happy to be proved wrong as always. Playing Tiffoney might not be the best tactic. The boy has been struggling with injury yet keeps getting thrown into the mix. So with the season only one third in maybe McCall should prioritise the boy's long term fittness over his own personal need for points. Yet again McColl has history here, wasn't shy in frequently moving from 2nd rate teams when the $ was at stake.
