Staggie_93
No doubt If Lineker tweeted some shite like “stop the boats” then he’d have been hailed by certain sections of the media and there would’ve been no issue with him hosting MOTD tomorrow. Trogdor
I'm a free speech absolutist. It's interesting that a lot of people have joined me today. Hopefully you can remain there when some gammon says something you profoundly disagree with. Its always better to debate the point and make them look like the bampots they are rather than no platform or cancel someone. Hopefully this can be the positive out of this almighty mess. The BBC Director General looks like he has painted himself into a corner. They'll just put a professional presenter on to present MOTD. Maybe even someone who can't say no (as its their only source of income). Something to bear in mind when the thought will be to attack the scab tomorrow night!

We all know it'll be Jenas, who for some reason seems to be the default go-to for a male presenter.

Scorge
Beeb either have to reverse ferret or tomorrow's show will just be voiceover and snippets from local radio/5 live commentary teams at best. An absolute omnishambles, this.

The Golden God
Wonder if there’ll be any form of protest on other BBC Sport stuff over the weekend? Doubt it but would be good to see.

Lofarl
It'll be cancelled and moved into a bumper Sunday edition. Unless the MOTD2 presenters tell them where to stick it. Fully expect a Premier League club to come out on Twitter and say they won't be doing any press for the BBC at this time. Then they will all follow suit.
