Could not agree more SNP fucked this country by deleting Whats App accounts and that b*****d Michael Matheson screwed us for £11000. Tories were right under Boris Johnson for doing the same thing, having parties while people died and costing £84 FUCKING MILLION pounds so far on Rwanda. Actually come to think of it unless you are a right wing racist bot on P&B probably not.

More whataboutery.

Theres quite a lot of examples now going back a few years where the lack of keeping records, meeting minutes, notes has been highlighted. I dont really understand it, I would think that when you are working in government you should have a fair idea that a extremely high level of record keeping is required. That the Scottish Government during the last nearly 10 years have kept what at best you could say is minimal seems either total incompetence or at worst deliberate.

Im not saying that theres been anything malicious but with this lack of transparency you clearly open up all sorts of accusations and it would have been so easy to avoid all that.

Why has the SNP been so poor at this, is it incompetence or deliberate?

Everything was given to the enquiry everything was logged WhatsApp wasn't used to make decisions or to discuss decisions and it's the same for bojo and Co they used WhatsApp for the VIP priority lane stuff 😉

Why did she previously commit to handing over the WhatsApp messages for the sake of the beraved families then?

That should be for the inquiry to ascertain and assess.

Plus if they weren't talking government business: why concern about FOI?

Everybody realises the idea they were just spitballing... or socialising about cats and the weather... is patently nonsense. It demeans the intelligence to argue that - up here, in Wales, wherever.

Incidentally what seems to becoming their 'official' defence... that it doesn't really matter anyway as decisionmaking was conducted and recorded in formal meetings... spectacularly misses the point. We already know what the decisions were. Having minutes amounting to "the cabinet considered A, the First Minister proposed to do X and this was accepted" is pointless. They want to understand the dialogue and conclusions - beyond official emails - which 'informed' that rubberstamping.

EDIT: it's especially relevant given impending decisions were so often leaked to the media, or even teed up by the First Minister herself in daily briefings, before the official meetings happened.

What a pathetic smooth brained response.

Considering that's your level of contribution to valid criticism it's probably best for everyone if you just stick to being a dotting account whenever anyone criticises your beloved political party 😂

Utterly spineless.

Thanks for the unwarranted abuse, it tells me everything that I need to know about you.

And I will post as little or as often as I want, same with the dots.

It was definitely warranted and accurate.

Good stuff Larry, keep up the good fight!

I think the ones with most to complain about here are the ones who lost loved ones and couldn't even see them buried properly not those wondering how the Govt decided that they had to wait an extra two weeks for a pint !

Agreed the pint drinkers got off lightly. Its the care home deaths , delayers hospital treatment , businesses that couldn't trade and workers who couldn't earn that have the most to complain about. A lot of this a result of a vain attempt to make themselves look different from England

Arguably the most profound period of restriction, upheaval and change since ww2 rationing, decisions made which may have saved, changed irreversibly or indeed taken lives and there are still people on here deflecting and blindly incapable of criticising ‘the party’.
These decisions have contributed to lives being lost or changed forever and any communication between government officials on the topic of the pandemic should be disclosable. Filter out any non government chat you want with redaction, i dont care if Sturgeon called Boris a fanny in a whatsapp, what i do want is to see the way their decision making was shaped and just how much of the restrictions were political or otherwise.

I see that @RuMoore has resorted to using disabilities as insults again.

If I recall correctly, his Stormzy persona was reprimanded by the mods for using exactly the same slur.

No wonder he's deleted the post. Disgusting behaviour.

You're such a loser.

I haven't deleted any posts, stop slavering absolute made up shite to try and derail the thread.

You're trolling is adding nothing to the discussion here.

Where's the post then? Have the mods deleted it, just like last time you started using lissencephaly as an insult?

Grow up.

I'd imagine the mods removed it after you or someone else complained.

It's extremely obvious that this term gets used commonly online to the point I didn't realise it was considered ableist. As the mods removed it I'll of course not use it going forward.

You trying to spin this in such a way is pretty deplorable yet unsurprising, you have a bizarre obsession with myself that I don't want to encourage by engaging with you as quite honestly you weird me out.

Now please can we keep this thread on topic, I know you would like to ruin the thread by clogging it up with non related comments in an attempt to derail it but please consider your fellow forum users that hold objective opinions on politics and scandal.

My advice is to ignore Stormzy the troll.

He tried to noise me up last night and when I didn't respond he returned an hour later to red dot my post. Despite his desperation I still didn't respond but he did get the opportunity to dish out more disgusting abuse. Quite remarkable behaviour.
