It's been some capitulation from QP. Honestly think the "higher ups" didn't want Prem football in 23/24 due to the stadium issue. Certainly seemed like the players downed tools. Coyle himself if the interview after the game seemed quite jovial for someone whod saw the Prem riches wipe away from his eyes

How you can suggest that a man who was born in Paisley and raised in the Gorbals but chose to represent the Republic of Ireland at international football could be anything other than genuine is beyond me.  Such is Owen's brogue, if you were to hear him speak on the radio without knowing who it was you could be forgiven for thinking it was Bono who was being interviewed.  He's as Irish as Tony Cascarino.  Definitely not Scottish.  So in no way a fraud.
