When the ball is pinballing about the middle of the park, no matter how tight it all is, all we have to do is find him, next minute he's turned and fired the ball into someone who has space to get us moving forward. McTominay, he's just so fucking good. But for a class save he'd have scored a fantastic goal and his defensive/positional discipline is great. You can tell how high a level he's spent his career, being coached etc. One instance where the guy he was marking took the ball in and laid it off. Anyone else would have charged the ball and left his man open but McTominay just stood his ground and blocked the pass resulting in the Georgian player having nowhere to go. He just..... knows what he's doing. If Robbo doesn't get an assist in this game it will be a fucking scandal.
