Group B: Dundee United, Partick Thistle, Falkirk, Peterhead, Spartans

Its absolutely hilarious how bad Utd are, 5/4 to win the Championship has to be genuinely one of the worst bets I have seen in the history of bookies. I'm just hoping a firm opens up a relegation market as if they keep Goodwin in charge much longer they could easily find themselves in League One

Wasiri was far better in the second half and successfully kept it simple, which was nice. We’re absolutely going to need cover there to take him out the team sometimes.

Fitzpatrick was good, Graham was good too and had that Denham boy utterly rattled all game long. Also, Williamson looked promising and if he keeps that level up I’ll need to admit I was very wrong about him.

United weren’t good. I still think they’ll end up fine and win the league, but they will make extremely hard work of it. It would seem that Jim Goodwin might not be what they needed after all - who’d have thunk it?

That Falkirks first competitive win of the season breaking P&B?

What a club

Like a toddler running into a dinner party proudly exclaiming they havent shat themselves when every grown up at the table knows its only a matter of time.

Graham was excellent tonight, sitter aside. Fitzpatrick and Lawless had good games, with MacKenzie and Williamson growing into it. Williams wasn’t great, but hopefully he’s still just settling in. Would be absolutely fine with a midfield three of Bannigan, Williamson and MacKenzie next season, as long as there was adequate cover for Bannigan (and probably Williamson)‘s inevitable suspensions, and to avoid any over-reliance on a 17 year-old.

United looked very poor. Middleton is still dreadful, and Denham will be an entertaining watch. Who could’ve guessed that giving Goodwin a new deal would go like this…
