I'd like to take this further, wishing for their complete extinction and to rewrite the history books removing all trace of them in a way that the Ministry Of Truth would be proud of.

Introduce a rule that every club in the pyramid can only have 1 team in the entire pyramid, including cup competitions organised by the SFA or leagues within the pyramid. So effectively a ban on any B-teams.

Change it to First, Second, Third and Fourth Divisions so you don't have to preface Championship say with Scottish or English. And make it 3 divisions while they're at it. Why on earth they thought it would be a good idea to copy England when the SPFL was formed is beyond me.
