St Mirren - v - Aberdeen 27 August

Aberdeen are a big club with a big support, a big stadium, a big budget, and a 3rd force in Scotland squad. If the famous can’t handle the big time - Europe and a trip to a wee diddy club with no stars above their crest, then tough titty.

😀

Bloody hell, it doesn't take much to rile up St Mirren fans these days. Here we go again.

What on earth are you ranting about? I responded to a post asking for association help to say that would be a bad thing.

Go find an argument in a different empty room you strange lad.

These guys are incredible this season. One poster suggests something and the whole fan base is behind it. Gimme strength.

Thoughts and prayers with the Dons lads having to go through this.

Hopefully they won't start roaring and greeting like you lot still are.

To be fair The Captain is in full wind up mode these days.

I don't feel particularly strongly about the issue either way. If it was for a semi-final then it would be acceptable.

You have put together what would seem to be a decent squad.

Not confident at all, and fingers crossed that you have a European hangover.

Won't be us. Charles Dunne literally murdered a man with his bare feet at the weekend and we are so establishment that even Willie Collum didn't send him off.

“Bring out the condemned man…….”

Yeah, I think we will be doing very well to get something out of this, Aberdeen are a really good side. Was quite surprised at how lukewarm the reception was to McGrath amongst their fans, I think he'll be good in a decent side where he can be the creative link rather than having to do as much of the defensive work.

It's definitely their turn for the red card though.

Just considering a quote and advice from the manager of a top club such as PSV.

The points in response are fine and valid - and only a couple of predictable yer da’s in there.

Just listen to the PSV manager after the game last night on recovery times required to reach peak performance etc - the Dutch association help their clubs playing in Europe, ours send them to Paisley.

Much the same thing to be fair

Unfortunately, you're correct. Although maybe we'll go through a whole season where no-one gets sent off in this fixture.

Miovski will be wondering which assassin Robinson has earmarked for him this time.
