Methamphetamine Rules

Long story short, journalist calls her newborn baby Methamphetamine Rules as some sort of idiotic idea to test her local area’s child naming regulations then gets an  unwelcome surprise when the name gets accepted and that’s her kid’s name on it’s birth certificate.

I’m not one to judge people but what an utter, utter moron.

Have you ruined your child’s life before it has even started?

Are you the responsible for your child’s relentless bullying and years of torment?

@MONKMAN have considered giving your baby a drug related moniker?

Pretty sure someone in America called their child Adolf Hitler a few years ago.

“We thought we would submit the most outrageous name we could think of, assuming it would be rejected,” she said. “But it didn’t turn out that way – unfortunately Methamphetamine Rules slipped through the cracks.”

If "Methamphetamine Rules" is the most outrageous name they could come up with, I'm very disappointed.

Southwest Airlines has apologized after a mother claimed its staff mocked her five-year-old daughter, called Abcde, over her name.

They were right to mock. Her name looks like boilerplate text.

So she deliberately gave her kid a name to draw attention to it and then complains when attention is drawn to it.  Makes sense.

Yes and yes.

It’ll come to no surprise to anyone that Mrs Mathematics’ child has a rather interesting name with roots in her favourite horror movie.

I checked the NRS and there has only been one other occurrence of the name in Scotland in the last 40 years.

She also chose his middle names in such a way to have a nod at yet another horror movie.

You could say it’ll be character building. You could also say he has no chance.

How is little Freddy Leatherface Mathematics getting on these days anyway?

That boy that scored for Man United at the weekend, his first name is Hannibal.

Some feat taking elephants over the Alps & having to play alongside Harry Maguire.

I don't think wee Methamphetamine Rules' life is necessarily ruined. You can change your name.

To Gary Glitter.

Now come on, Freddy is far too popular!

Krueger Leatherface Mathematics, on the other hand, is teething. The fangs are sharp.

Is it just the first name or is it a first/middle name or does your mrs surname coincide with her favourite horror movie character? We need a bit of light shed on this one.
