One game lost at home in ages and they react like that.

What a bunch of fucking wankers.

I find this take amusing given another Hibs fan in a recent match thread was basically saying Celtic fans are the easiest to please and we give the board too easy a ride. I think basically the Celtic board for years nearly 2 decades now have just been happy to just be better than the **** and it's that attitude that has bitten us in the arse more than a few times now. The disdain clearly hasn't come from just losing just one home match.

What else are they supposed to be ? If the Celtic board are happy to be better than Rangers that's a sober assessment of the reality of modern European football. Aberdeen have as much chance of winning the Scottish title as Celtic have of being European contenders. Why throw millions at something which is unachievable ?

I don't think it's totally out the question for us to be contenders for the Europa league tbh. I don't it's utterly ridiculous for to make past the group stages of the champions league. It's hard to do this though when we are selling players and replacing them with a load of project players. Our turnover is actually ok  compared to some other clubs at these levels  but when your siphoning it it away with 40 million profit such as last year it's obvious the cash from Europe isnt getting reinvested much.

The stagnation also stretches away from football to the proposed hotel,Museum etc that was talked about what must be a decade now. I appreciate some of it will be down to bureaucracy but we certainly have cash to be getting on with things. There is no real drive for change from the board though as they are just happy with the status quo as we're still raking in cash and successful domestically.

Having said all this if you see how shit other bigger clubs are ran in Scotland I'm not going to pretend we're hard done by, just could do a fair bit better or at least try to.

Be serious, please. Not that they aren’t legitimate criticisms relative to celtics performance but you’re not convincing anyone that celtic fans are primarily angry at the speed of a hotel being built.

You Say the board just want to be better than the ****, but let’s be real. The anger in Celtic park in Saturday can easily be translated as a genuine fear that the **** can compete with you this season.

"We want the other teams to compete".

"No, not actually".

I’m not saying that Celtic Fans wouldn’t be angry anyway about losing at home to Hearts but the fact that the Tynecastle Hotel is taking bookings seems to have pushed them over the edge.

Especially so soon after the defeat to our fellow hoteliers in Kilmarnock

I believe it's time to build on this position of power. Build a casino in the car park*, we win the league.

Celtic are rattled imo. We've found their weakness to hospitality and entertainment and must exploit it.

* Apologies; Foundation Plaza!

Well no I clearly never said anyone was primarily angry over that. It was an addition to my my point of staleness and lack of drive at the club. Be serious, please.

There will be some truth in your last claim but there has been a quiet disdain for our board growing past good few years. The timing of the banning the Green Brigade recently has made people talk about the board more, add in a large profit announcement of late, an awkward AGM the other month for them and the usual champions league pummelings  there's alot more to it than just losing one game or a rival revival.

I knew Kilmarnock had one (at least I think they do again now under Bowie) but I never knew Hearts have one too, I shall save this for later on nightshift to pointlessly research.

I think I have heard a plan like this before....

A Hearts casino would be great. And staffing would be easy.

Croupier: Gary Locke

Barman: Gary Locke

Manager: Gary Locke

Assistant Manager: Gary Locke

Waiter: Gary Locke

Casino Ambassador: Gary Locke

Parking Attendant: Gary Locke

I would assume the 24hr residents bar would be called the Locke inn

Sure I saw a figure for Copenhagen's turnover which was significantly smaller than Celtic's so probably fair to take the view that you should be doing better.

The point was made facetiously re the hotel, but it was serious.

Ange did nothing in Europe but I don’t remember any sack the board protests or booing of Santa Claus.
