What Are You Having for Lunch

Recommended Posts

Naked chilli prawn noodle cup a soup thing, with a dash of sesame oil. Cherries, watermelon and a few nuts, finished off with a sneaky couple of leftover cheesy nachos from last night that have now gone disappointingly soggy.

Is everyone making g their own kimchi? I seen some in asda but at about £7 for a tub of it, they can gtf.

I might try the Chinese supermarket for it.

Baxters version was £1.00 on sale in one of b&m or home bargains. It was nice enough but wasn't kimchi. I think they just put curry powder on sauerkraut.

2 x slices of white bread (toasted), 4 x rashers of bacon, brown sauce.

1 x coffee accompanied by 4 x chocolate digestives. A dangerous choice for me when having lunch in the house alone, as I'm very likely to return for another coffee soon and tan just about the whole packet. A simple yet very moreish classic, I feel.

Mmm, delicious Cumberland final straw, dripping in onion gravy.

Homemade (Saturday) soup. 1.5 bowls thereof.

Contents;

Carrots

Pepper

Salt

Thyme

Turkey stock (boiled down from Christmas)

Was very pleasant but needed a little strong cheese crumbled through it for seasoning.

Maybe just me, but how the fucking hell do you manage 3 courses+ for lunch?!

I was once in embra after a meeting that finished about 10 with a lunch allowance and a flight home at 5.00. My lunch allowance was just enough to cover the lunchtime buffet at Jimmy Chungs. I reckon i managed at least 25 courses over the three hours. I managed because I used the buffet master techniques of no fizzy drinks and not filling up with rice, noodles or prawn crackers. And i knew i'd a nap opportunity coming up.

Soup and a sanny for me

Cheese Savoury (Bread,  of the brown variety. Cheese, of  orange cheddar variety (grated((not by me)). onion, of the red variety. Also featuring an unknown green herb)

An unidentifiable soup (its green. Possibly leek & potato. On the watery side.)

Banana (not green enough, but it'll do)

Actually a bit late today but:

Hors d'oeuvres of a Greggs Sausage Roll

Tesco Chunky Vegetable Soup (1 can thereof, bit meh, certainly not Big Soup territory)

Buttered roll for accompaniment.

Bag of chip shop curry McCoys.

Need something sweet now.
