That is a sickener to lose in the last minute of extra time, but it was coming. Dools subs were shocking, taking off our attacking threats. First Scottish Cup quarter final in 19 years as well, can't believe that curse is over after so long. Thought we slightly edged it but couldn't have complained if it had gone to penalties. Nouble and Brandon were outstanding. Fuctifano Posted February 10 Share Posted February 10 That felt totally inevitable after the first goal and the subs we made, though if Adeloye's shot at 2-1 is two inches to the left we probably see it out. I thought we'd actually lose about 5-2 in ET as we looked absolutely fucked towards the end of the 90 but suppose Livi played midweek which resulted in them dropping off a bit as well until the last 5 minutes of ET, where they had 2 sitters to win it and a fairly clear pen turned down as well before they did score. The team we had on at the end of ET would struggle to stay up in the championship, the drop off between our strongest starting XI and the subs is stark. Getting the subs right is still something where Doolan has a lot to learn.
