Ayr United v Raith Rovers

Recommended Posts

OK, so if the rumours about Murray are true, then we have Brown, Brown, Dick and Corr who can match with Watson.

Brown hurts the DM, Brown leaves us putting Millen back at RB, Dick has us probably put McGill or Millen at LB, Corr is the only “neutral” impact…an unfortunate turn of events.

Feared the worst after the first goal. But then we settled well and did okay. On a few occasions we just invited pressure onto ourselves however.

The last thing to be doing when you've got a new young keeper who hasn't played with the team yet is force him into difficult situations with the ball at his feet.

Towards the end of the half we started to look the more threatening. Then another one of those times where we lose the ball cheaply and get overrun in the middle. Sanders has to be more alert and someone has to be giving him a shout that's there's a man behind him. FS.

Really frustrating goal to to concede.

Big Ruddbomber leaving Hamilton on the bench. He’s been impressive since joining.

Hopefully hold out and it would be an impressive 3pts at a right hard place to go.

Rudden and Hamilton are nicely complementary. Both high engines, Jacks stronger in the air, Rudden is more of a scrapper…when you sub one off for the other, the defence has new problems with tired legs.

Turner in for Brown when there is no Byrne is bold. Would have thought Matthews was the more natural switch, unless we are playing Stsnton as a DM but it really doesn't get the best of him.
