Morton Minnows v Flying Falkirk

This.

The last time we went through to Morton for a league game we didn't want to sit in the rain behind the goals so thought we'd pay for tickets in the main stand. We couldn't see well for pillars (and roof) in front of us and I had to sit uncomfortably sideways through the game as my legs wouldn't fit between the rows. That added to being goaded by really drunk "fans" in their shirt and tie hospitality next to us made it a truly underwhelming experience (and one I won't be repeating).Β

Wee shame that.

Here’s a sensible solution don’t sit up the back sit down the frontΒ

Cappielow used to be brilliant in the 80s and 90s when the away fans got a section of the cowshed. Always great banter across the fence and good sound made too. WDE is awful but far better than the main stand.Β

The more I think about it, the more I think this game is going to be an absolute slog, both for the spectators and for the players on the pitch. Wont be pretty IMO.

At least the weather is meant to be not bad.

Oft you should sit in the Dundee main stand makes cappielow 10/10Β

I haven't sampled either stand at dens or cappielow to compare, but can I nominate the main stand at motherwell for the terrible legroom league? I'm 6'2 but had to sit fully sideways.Β

Never been in the Motherwell main stand, Iknow both us and Dundee have terrible leg room in the main stand. This would make a good thread the terrible legroom league who comes out in first position and wins the worst legroom in Scottish football……

What's the deal with Morton?

Do you play super defensive and deep with 10 men behind the ball and one man all on his own and that's why you can't score but don't concede?

Or are you just well organised and in a good shape but toothless up front cause your striker is a diddy?

Based on a relatively small sample size - we miss a lot of chances because we have no actual striker, and we don’t concede because we are relatively well organised, seem to have 2 good keepers, keep the ball quite well, and Ian Wilson has been a human firewall so far.
