ScotlandGer
Edinburgh is at a fucking standstill around my area! It took me 3-and-a-half hours to get home last night - normally 30-45 mins. in the rush-hour. I was genuinely on the verge of tears by the end of it all
Gaz FFC
To my eternal shame a giant Orange walk is taking place in Falkirk today. Roads shut everywhere and some questionable looking mutants cutting around.

Aidan
To my eternal shame a giant Orange walk is taking place in Falkirk today. Roads shut everywhere and some questionable looking mutants cutting around. There's a woman that stays up here who is down for that today. If you could arrange for a vehicle to plough through them it would be very much appreciated.

At least it pissed rain.

BFTD
Think it's been a few years since we've been sullied by an Orange Walk. Is it an annual thing over in Falkirk, or are they making a special effort this year?
throbber
The big yin in Glasgow is usually the first weekend in July is it not?
Gaz
Our local council are paying for the policing of the Orange Walk. Absolutely delighted to be spending my council tax on that.
throbber
It's awful Gaz. I remember there being something on in July 2014 in Edinburgh, i was heading away for the weekend and remember the area around Waverley being over run by a plethora of Rangers top wearing zombies draped in Union Jacks and drinking Tennent's cans. Was glad to be leaving the city that day.
Swarley
Our local council are paying for the policing of the Orange Walk. Absolutely delighted to be spending my council tax on that. Why? Shouldn't the event organisers be picking up the tab?
Eednud
Why? Shouldn't the event organisers be picking up the tab? Whit? As well as the bowler hats, colour uncoordinated sashes and goats for unnatural acts?
GordonD
I've no idea I live in Australia! Not really Kirsty Gallacher's knickers then. Pity, I was hoping I could come and visit.
KnightswoodBear
And you can only get there by bus? My wife went through to her mum and dad's yesterday with the kids, so I could either drive through but we'd both need to drive home on Sunday or get the train or the bus today. The train would have been my preferred choice but the bus was quicker.
