monkeyblair
Took a walk down Argyle Street (heading to look at the Big Yin mural in the Gallowgate) and must have been stopped by at least half a dozen charity workers / beggars / god botherers. Despite politely turning down any requests to take part in any surveys / donate cash / join a cult you are often still made to feel like a third rate citizen. I have had quieter walks down the strip in Las Vegas. On the plus side I did come face to chest with the tallest woman I have ever seen - she was quite a specimen.

I am gradually edging closer and closer to telling one of these parasite chuggers to f**k off. Utter, utter worse than ISIS c***s.

invergowrie arab
Dress down Friday?? Do you get to bring in games too? There is one guy on my floor who seems to determined to start it. I hate him he talks loudly and is too short. Today he is wearing short sleeved tartan shirt and green combats that look like they were bought in Officer Club circa 1998. On non dress down days he wears short sleeved shirts and a tie. I hope he falls down the stairs.

I'm not sure why we don't just wear normal clothes every day (unless we have client meetings). Office based so what we wear has no bearing on our ability to do the job.
monkeyblair
I guess it harps back to the thought that to be 'professional' in an office type environment you need to be in 'business dress'. 1970's logic really.

Dons_1988
Either wear normal clothes or look smart. You're supposed to be (semi) professional people for f**k sake. When I first started at my work 7 years ago dress down Friday barely existed. My work didn't do it and none of my clients did it.Now? My work do it and I'd say about 95% of my clients do it too. I don't have a particular problem with it to be honest.Apart from the fact I work in Edinburgh so there's some c***s that come in in their mustard cord trousers and shirt. Gads.
Miguel Sanchez
Flutes Flute bands The sort of dregs who line the streets to watch and take pictures of flute bands, particularly those who bring their children along The even worse sort of dregs who hang Irish fucking flags from lamp posts along the band routes in the middle of fucking Glasgow I hope one of the city's lesser problems manifests itself and they all get fucking stabbed
Gaz FFC
Phoned the local take away for a collection. Woman on the phone tells me it will be 10 mins. Thought that was a little optimistic so i went round after 15. Sat there for a further 15 genuinely seething that this was what I wanted to avoid by phoning in my order.
