NJ2
Folk sending roses/gifts to their partners work. I’m single so it doesn’t really make any odds to me, but there’s a couple of girls in the office received roses today; all the lassies with partners but no roses are happy for them but also seething their own partner. These thoughtful c***s are fucking over the unthoughtful c***s and it’s not really fair imo.
Shotgun
Reminds me of the time a lassie at work received a huge, and I mean huge bunch of flowers. I'd thought she was single so remarked to one of the others, "Does she have a boyfriend now?" "No", came the reply "Those are from her stalker." Apparently some creepy fucker had spent an evening trying to talk to her when she was out with her friends. She'd made it clear she wasn't interested but he had tracked down where she worked and sent her these as a mark of his undying infatuation. For about 2 months after that, the guys in the office took turns walking her out to her car each night.

JamesP_81
. For about 2 months after that, the guys in the office took turns walking her out to her car each night. Seems fairly obvious to me that the guys in the office all clubbed together to get a huge bunch of flowers sent from her 'stalker' so they could then take turns playing the chivalrous card while trying to fire into her on the way out to her car each night . Well played guys.

I replied " That's probably why they got bouquets I've to get my own tea tonight.

Corned beef is for a sandwich. 5 hours ago, Melanius Mullarkey said: I am reluctantly willing to give the sausage stovies a try if Nade posts the recipe. 5 hours ago, Rugster said: You won't regret it. It's a slow cooker recipe. If the lycra clad perma rager can see his way to post it you are in for a treat. @Unleash The Nade Lycra Clad Perma Ranger happy to oblige ! Peel and slice potatoes into discs approx half a centimetre thick. Brown off 8 steak slice sausage, drain on kitchen paper to absorb excess fat, then cut into pieces about one inch square. Fry one and a half onions gently until golden in colour. Get a pint of beef stock. A cube will do ,but fresh made or supermarket pre made is better. In bottom of SC arrange a layer of potato, then add ground black pepper (no salt as you'll get this from stock) Then add layer of sausage and onion. Another layer of potato and season, then another of sausage and so on. Once all layers are complete, pour in stock and cook on low heat for approx 6 hours. When ready,if all stock hasnt been absorbed,I would drain some off then mash. Dont mash too much as I think it best if you still have some chunks of tattie. Serve with buttered oat cakes, or buttered plain bread ..brown sauce optional Enjoy

Bairnardo
Stovies can and should be made with any leftover red meat. Lamb is tremendous. However, buying square sauaage to put in it is also perfectly acceptable. A wonderful and versatile dish. Never better than when served in a polystyrene cup though.

Stellaboz
Got something caught in my teeth near the back and my tongue can't wriggle it out, nor going digging with my fingers has helped. Infuriating.
