pozbaird
Wimbledon - when the player serving keeps asking the ballboys & girls to throw them balls, until they have four or five which they look at and roll around on their racket, as if three of them might be square shaped or something. Then they toss three unwanted ones back to the ballpersons/people/boys/girls/gender neutral ball folk…. Just get two balls and fcuking hit them.

Isn't Fork four k though? I've spent far too much time today saying both words out loud... I even went as far as letting Google say them both and can't hear a difference, they describe them as Fawk and Pawk but. A nationwide ad campaign that doesn't rhyme in most places is just shite. A bit like, as noted by Limmy, "Twenty's Plenty" not rhyming at all yet somehow catching on everywhere. So not only is Limmy of very limited entertainment value, but he's also a thick c**t that doesn't know what rhyming means. Is tgat your point?

Derry Alli
Why do Weegies say "stock of rock" rather than "stick of rock"? As in, I'm going to Blackpool. Do you want me to bring you back some stick of rock Edit : just realised this isn't the QQ topic. I suppose it's possible that someone could think that the " 's" stops the "twenty" being a sound but no one is that dense, surely?

I really don't know why you are struggling with this.
