Petty Things That Get On Your Nerves...

Recommended Posts

My job. Paid buttons to do far too much. Now no chance of a promotion because a position in between my boss and my current level that I would have applied for has been scrapped due to the agencies current recruitment freeze. I will be now leaving as soon as I can get a better paid job.

Having heard many good things about the Italian Kitchen in the Merchant City we went there for dinner tonight and the food was dire and service slow and sloppy.

The service in there is pretty poor, the waitresses are daft, annoying and incompetent, but when I was in there the food was really good. What did you get?

Bruichetta to start with, which was burnt not toasted then spag bolgs which tasted soley of red wine. Really disappointing.

I was painting a flat all day, on one of my days off! Still, a good bit of money for it made all the difference.

I also tried to face my fear of heights head on today. I was standing about 6 feet off the ground, on a pair of shit ladders, looking out of the window (4 stories up, I may add) but whilst thinking of falling, I nearly did fall. Instead, the plastic thing that had my paint in it, fell and has stained the carpets!

I went to the gym wearing shorts, t-shirt and a jacket so I could get started straight away without much changing or faffing about. After I'd done some running and some weights I decided to go for a swim.

I'd forgotten to take a pair of jeans in my bag to change into, so I had to drive home with wet shorts on.

At least you knew why you were wet.

I got my car valeted at work last week and the guy never mentioned he had used wet foam on the seats.

I was going to a meeting in Glasgow and after a couple of miles driving I got a strange feeling that I'd wet myself.

Bloody seat was soaking and so were my suit trousers and jacket. :(
