Nick_BCFC
Shaving! Take the effort, all 10mins of it, to shave the fungus around the face, then a day later -it is back. I look like a tramp at the minute cause I haven't been bothered with a shave for about a week now. Nearly all the pubs in Stirling close at 1pm. Some of the 'trendier' ones used to close at 2, but I'm not sure if that's still the case. That'd be the shittest day out. Ever.
Fudge
Nearly all the pubs in Stirling close at 1pm. Some of the 'trendier' ones used to close at 2, but I'm not sure if that's still the case. Any time I've been out there I've unfortunately been cajoled into going to Dusk/Fubar between 11.30-midnight. I'd have quite happily sat in the pub til 1am if that's when they're open to because there are some brilliant ones. My gripe about most clubs is that they are just rooms with bars that have generic music playing and the decor is usually needlessly swanky and downright pretentious. Going to a club is meant to be an and audiovisual 'experience' which leaves a lasting impression. People just go there to extend drinking hours and look for a pull. In the scant few good ones you don't even care about drink or girls because you're too busy jiving away to some brilliant music.
Smurph
Was in town this morning, me and a few mates decided it would be fun to stay up al night, and skateboard from Blairdardie into town, in the morning. Anyway, went into Costa to get some coffee. I ordered a vanilla latte. It didn't taste of vanilla at all. This was disappointing.

StewartyMac
That'd be the shittest day out. Ever. A Freudian slip. Would still be better than any sort of day/night out in Brechin, mind. Does Brechin even have a nightclub? I remember it used to, but I canny mind the name. Wasn't it the hub of the Angus 'scene' at the time? Flicks it might have been called. Jeez, imagine basket weaving with a hangover.

Not that i'm aware of - I haven't been for a couple of years now. It had closed down the last time I was up there but I have been in it when it was open (Flicks I think is correct). From what I remember of it you are right - an hour in Stirling would be a lot better then a night out in Brechin.

GypsyTillIDie
I despise the fact that I took five highers this year. Maths in particular, but thank christ I've got a decent enough teacher. And I'm not going to Arbroath tonight cause my dad's in London - I was sure as hell not going on that bus on my own.
