Rugster
Tea and coffee are shite. Bovril is the best hot drink.
Jmothecat2
I'm actually struggling to understand how folk make it through the day without coffee. I go a morning without caffeine and I'm a quivering mess.

Because they aren't addicted to a substance (caffeine) and so don't need a fix every couple of hours?
peasy23
Mrs Bs gran. Fucking hate coming to her house. Its shite, I dont like her, and she doesnt even offer us a cup of tea. Honestly.... Who doesnt offer a hot beverage to visitors. My mother in law is the opposite, she's like fecking Mrs Doyle, whether you actually want tea or not it's easier just to say yes just to get peace.
philpy
Not everyone can drink it. I once made the mistake of ordering a large "cafe caramelo" once in Costa, was the size of a fucking soup bowl. Sent me Haywire, thought I was going to have a heart attack at one point. Now i can't touch the stuff.

Sounds like you're an addict.
SlipperyP
Imagine moaning cause a 80 year old wummin won't get up and make you a cup of tea. I don't think he mentioned that she is bed ridden.Selfish cow.Or maybe she just doesn't like him and his kids. Take the hint ffs
MONKMAN
Coffee is rank. I can't stand the taste or smell of it, so refuse to have any in the house for guests. Saying that, I don't particularly like people enough to warrant having guests in my house.
Jmothecat2
I was completely unaware anyone didn't like coffee. I thought it was something everyone liked. -
Widge
My phone had stopped working in that it thinks there are headphones plugged in at all times. Which means I can't call people or watch videos unless there are actual headphones plugged in. Gonna be interesting at work tomorrow when someone tries to call me.

I think it's about tradition. I like tradition. Knowing where you come from, having a connection with your past. But I suppose I wouldn't do it if it was a shite name. So if you have (already or in the future) a second son does he get the same name again or is his connection with the past f*cked?

ICTJohnboy
I was working up in the Orkneys some years ago, and got talking to a girl in a pub who didn't look too bad, so I asked her name. "Iona Gunn" says she. I got out that pub pretty smartly - I only asked her name FFS. Edited September 3, 2017 by ICTJohnboy
Jmothecat2
Bairnardo probably misread the thread title and thought that word was "pretty". How old is the grannie? GILF material?
