I thought he either had to go for it, or at least try and find the strip of fairway to the right of the water. They’ve said there’s a practice strip beside 17/18th holes or one beside an airstrip, but says balls not supplied. It is very much a case of line up and blooter some balls across an area of grass and go and collect them. There are plans I believe to build a proper driving / practice range in the future but not sure what stage these are at. For that strip of grass down by the airfield aye. A caveat that I haven't been up there in a year or so but it was like that when my Grandpa was teaching me golf in the late 80s / early 90s and was still the same down there even just a couple of years ago so I'd be surprised if there was anything down there in the way of equipment. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
