same_ol_g35
Finally, big Jonny has carried well of late. He did have a little help from Harley there
peasy23
Stick on yellow card. But not if you are a Scarlets player apparently.
Jaggy Snake
A penalty a metre off the try line doesn't even get a talking to, let alone a card. Edited May 18, 2018 by Jaggy Snake
Dunning1874
Minor point in the grand scheme of how crap Glasgow have been, but I don't think I've ever seen a referee go to the TMO without putting time off before.

Gianfranco
The last ten minutes or so have been good but it’s too little too late.

ddfg
Wilson set the tone for the whole game with a stupid, unnecessary tackle in the first minute, not a captain.

Reminded me a bit of Fraser Brown's head's gone moment against England in 2017 6N.. Players too fired up, not able to contain their emotions and having a fuckwit moment.

Mon Toulon because f**k Michalak. Although f**k Ashton and Bastareaud. Montpellier will pump whoever wins out of those two.

Apart from Stade Francais games, I haven't seen much of Top 14 rugby this season. Do they still have Orangina written on their arses? Either way, hoping that Toulouse end up winning Top 14 overall. Yoann Maestri is joining Stade in the summer after backing out of a contract with La Rochelle after their coach left so it'd be good to have a recent Top 14 winner join the team. Also, Morne Steyn (Stade player) was meant to be joining Brive in the summer but had a clause that he could back out if they got relegated. Guess who kicked the winning points to relegate Brive...? *edit* actually they have two Toulouse players joining next season. Mon Toulouse. Mark Connolly
Right, here we go. Defence was shite in the first half. Decision making was shite too, with Finn constantly kicking the ball to their back 3, who, even without Halfpenny, are as dangerous as any back 3 in European rugby. When he didn't, it was shite grubbers. Scarlets had the game won by half time, and that was our own fault. As for Mr Lacey, the guy next to me had it right when he said every time the crowd booed him, he had an even worse decision after. The man is an absolutely dreadful referee, who showed with the disallowed try for Gray and the foot on the line from the kick-off that he doesn't actually know the laws, or if he does, he doesn't apply them. Fucking c**t. As for next season - bin Humphreys and get a proper forwards coach in rather than Scott Johnson's best pal; sign a quality 10 who can bring Hastings along while also offering consistency; sign a big, dirty b*****d 2nd row; and sign a loosehead who can actually scrummage, or at least knows how to get in the ref's good books while cheating.
come on shire
On the train home. Even though we were at home we were up against the reigning champs and European Cup semi-finalists. So we were never going to win since we were too disorganised and made too many basic errors. Also, their tries were too easy. Too many missed tackles never mind needing to be more violent defensively. Our boys need a rest and a proper recuperation after the Scotland games. Sad to see John Barclay get injured but he was being rested over summer anyway. It's not all negative I guess. Winning the conference didn't help in the sense that we looked like a team who hadn't played in about a fortnight. Scarlets played last weekend. Despite Europe being poor, this was meant to be a 'transitional' season so reaching a home s/f maybe isn't terrible. Finally, the final's at Celtic Park next year so a home final is a massive carrot.
