DiegoDiego
Taraz 0-2 Kairat.Newly promoted Taraz really should have won that. They were clean through on the keeper four times in as many minutes but spurned all their chances and went in at the half goalless. They then hit the crossbar and fired straight at the keeper after the break before a Kairat shot was half blocked and looped over the keeper onto the back of the net.Not to worry though as five minutes later Taraz got a stonewall penalty. Skied it. After that Taraz were pretty deflated and Kairat defended in numbers, grabbing a deserved second towards the end. The result puts Kairat at the top of the league and Taraz are only safe on goal difference as things stand. The quality wasn't too bad, UEFA rankings put their league between Norway and Poland and that seems about right. Kairat had a couple of decent players who are national team regulars. While Taraz's manager is 66 and on his twenty-ninth job, Kairat's new man at the helm is only 31.In not entirely unrelated news I am massively hungover today.

19QOS19
Queens Park 2-3 East Stirling Reserve League. Shire looked to have a lot of older players tonight and early on it showed. They took a 3 goal lead into HT. QP always looked decent going forward but no cutting edge. They grabbed a couple in the second half though and were the better side in the 2nd. They could have drawn late on. The star of the show was the QP no. 6 Gibson. For all the wrong reasons. I imagine it's because there wasn't a big crowd and you could hear everything but by christ this guy was a moaner. He seemed raging with everyone. Pretty sure he came off the bench and the abuse he was giving his team-mates was annoying me so no idea how none of them had a go at him. In the second half it got a bit heated. He went up with the striker and the striker went down holding his head so the ref rightly stopped play. He then gave the ref another mouthful and then Andy Rodgers gave him a mouthful letting him know he stopped play for the head injury. It fizzled out. He finally got booked for giving the lino abuse after he gave a (correct) decision that he never agreed with. To top it off, at FT he went to shake hands with said linesman and when the lino put his hand out he took his away and gave him the fingers. The ref spotted it and sent him off. It topped off his night and confirmed he's a Grade A cock. For a chubby CB he could pick a pass and actually looked decent but his attitude may well stop him making it at a decent level unless someone can get him to wind that shit in a bit.

19QOS19
Crowd: you.Nah there was a decent number. They just stayed away from me because I'm a particularly smelly individual. Like a wee trip to Lesser Hampden QOS so much history there. It was actually my first visit. Nice wee venue but it must be as soulless for Queens Park games as it was in Hampden. I enjoyed reading the stuff in the building about former players as well.
