Sooner the takeover happens and these players aren't at the club the better. Levein is a product of the lack of ambition and drop in standards which started under Davidson and allowed to continue because those running the club were either incompetent, didn't care, lost interest or all of the above. Last week's invasion was on our own pitch and that was fine given that we had effectively won the league and promotion. I'm not for pitch invasions on opposition's turf/plastic. The only mitigation I can offer is that our fans have had a shite decade and reasons to be cheerful/celebrate have been few and far between. Thankfully they left their best performance of the season until the time it was needed. Perhaps the majority know it'll be the last time they have to play at Palmerston/nearly done working for that eejit in charge. Actually thought all bar one were excellent to a man. Thought Ferguson stank the place out once again. Summed up his time with us in two incidents; a tame shot at the GK and injuring himself after shitebagging out a challenge. Be glad to see the back of him. Today's performance again showed me that that group of players had potential to do ok this season. I truly believe had we had someone not completely incompetent we'd have done far better.

I'm very much not looking forward to another season of Andy Halliday.

The mad notion of showing appreciation to a team that has performed well above expectations all season and continued to do so last night seems lost on you. For what it’s worth I’m of the opinion that we should’ve sucked the pitch invasion up, we had our day last season at Hamilton and again last month in Falkirk but I can’t get my head around the way some of your lot went about it. Each to their own though. Also hope there’s some condemnation from both clubs today or over the weekend, throwing flares at players isn’t on and likewise going on for a boxing match. Onto the match, I found myself thinking about how much damage we could’ve done this season with a proper goal scorer in the mould of Paton at Queens Park at the same time I’m really happy with how performed considering we still have a few players still to come back into the team. It kind of had the feel from a United perspective that yous had to just turn up and we’d roll over but that wasn’t to be.

I have to confess I had no intention of going until the seriousness of our plight persuaded me.. Everything I'd heard dissuaded me. Reminds me how lucky we are to have a nice wee stadium suited to our needs. Put covers over the terraces and it would be near perfect. It took me a long time to love Forthbank after Annfield but looking around we are in a far better position than some.
