The cricket ground in the bottom left of the bottom picture is Heriot's old Cricket ground and I believe Leith played there just after WW1. I don't suppose you know who played at the ground at the top, across the Water of Leith on what is now presumably Craigroyston's pitch?

I nicked this... It's Bathgate Park, New Street, Edinburgh. It was used by the Edinburgh Junior FA up to the 1920s and was built on top of an old gas works. In the 1920s a bus garage was build on top of it and now they're building some shitey modern development on the site.

if we're wanting to improve our national team it makes more sense to let the English Championship Colts into D2! The Old Infirm haven't exactly had a great record for producing great youth talent recently and I can't see that changing. Celtic u20s totally scudded our u20s in the Youth Cup this season but that doesn't mean those Celtic youth players are suddenly going to turn Celtic into the 2019 European Cup Winners...

City v Spartans will always be THE derby to me but seeing as the Ainslie Arseholes are a tuppenny ha'penny club who can't get promoted to the League it will just have to be Berwick this season. Berwick-upon-Tweed is 60 miles from Edinburgh though- Cowdenbeath and Stirling are nearer. Berwick Rangers didn't join the Scottish League until 1951- 21 years after Edinburgh City did. Wee diddy non-League upstarts....

SFA rules. Because the Saturday match was off we played on the Tuesday and then have to have the replay the following Monday. By way of comparison Bonnyrigg managed to play their game on the Saturday and now have the luxury of replaying Dumbarton on Tuesday. By having the City match on the Monday this will save Scottish Football as we know it, according to the SFA Development Guru (pictured below)
