  1. This yet for most of my life Sellick fans have harped on endlessly about being underdogs - they are the Prince Harry of Scottish football.
  2. Yet Waters presumably couldn't have sacked Wright without the agreement of Gilmour and Mason. Interesting (for me anyway) to note that when Wright rejoined the band it was initially on a salary before eventually being upgraded to Full Member again. ************ FWIW Floyd's management for the first US Wall tour had extra dates penned in for Cincinnati (IIRC) which would've shifted the tour into profit but Waters didn't think the venue was suitable.
  3. Don't want to sound AntiSemitic but them rabbinical Jews are just weird. Bible's 'Plague of Frogs' May Have Been Just One Giant Frog | Cracked.com
  4. Hard to see past Jonas Vinegar'd for the Criterium now.
  5. Any need to worry has been removed, Gene Simmons/KISS are gonna sort it out, after all they've got more pyros than the paramilitaries. Kiss star Gene Simmons calls for return of NI government (msn.com)
  6. My son is back home from Uni for a bit have his washing cleaned etc., last night he went out with his mates and won a pub quiz!
  7. I agree but perhaps it's symptomatic of no spinners in the 20-25 age range getting a regular chance to bowl, erm, 20-25 overs in a match. The future is bite sized matches for TV/gaming industry....
  8. Would've been a different fillum if TS had played the Bill Murray role. 79 is a good innings for a guy who lived, ahem, the R'n'R lifestyle - will give Thank Christ For the Bomb a spin sometime over the next few daze.
  9. I thought that lottery winner had set you right - obviously not.
  10. Smart move by Kennedy - if he goes can you get a bet on him being next Celtic manager bar one?
  11. Guy at work (late 50s) had a SG mobile phone case.
  12. 8/10 - Wedding Present & US Sitcom. Edit - Just checked and wedding presents change annually, sixth anniversary is sugar, fourteenth is elephants or ivory one you couldn't get in your house the other is illegal.
  13. There was one Morton fan in my old work but he left about 10 years ago, since then I have only knowingly spoken to one Morton fan, at the exit of a Roger Waters gig when I was wearing my Saints bunnet, I think more rivalry is generated on a site like this between similarly sized teams who meet on a regular basis. I'm tempted to look up the frenzied "Saints Relegation Thread" on the P&B Gold Forum to revisit the numerous photos of celebrity chefs.
  14. I saw the "final" Renfrewshire Cup Final back in the last millennium, about a thousand years ago, if this goes ahead I want my £2 back!
  15. Crimson & Clover by Tommy James and the Shondelles who had a unique achievement (I think) in the mid 80s when two of their songs were covered and were US No. 1 singles in succession. Billy Idol - Mony, Mony Tiffany - I Think We're Alone Now They've had other trax covered - I wonder if there's an album out there called Now, I think that's a Tommy James Cover!
  16. I don't think I've actually heard mine listen to music, kinda confirming my theory that Now is for people who as Lenny-C said don't really like music, do they? Going to see mine about gardening equipment tomorrow as I've let the back garden become a bit of a jungle and I'll try to work the conversation round to whether he listens to the product.
  17. Unlikely this guy is from Tarbolton in Ayrshire.
