  1. Going by the Trust's statement today it'll take another 2 years of season ticket renewals on top of this one to get to a situation where all 5 of them are gone. I'm understand the logic behind renewing and retaining your right to have a say but I just think I'd rather leave Low and the Trust to it now. They've got what they wanted, they can deal with the mess that's going to inevitably follow as they alienate part of the fanbase when they're already making 6 figure operating losses. I read today Randle Wilson is another failed Tory candidate like Low, what is it about Tories who can't get elected that attracts them to our boardroom?
  2. The only remaining option left to me is to stop funding the club until there's meaningful change which at a minimum means Low getting to f**k. No cup games, no purchases of anything from the club and then not renewing my season ticket next season. Not sure how I'll cope with no longer being a beneficiary of the PTFC Trust right enough.
  3. Adams, McLean and Patterson out with no mention of any replacements yet.
  4. It gives an insight into the grim lives of the fans of the opposition when the fanciest thing they could think of for the stereotype of our support is drinking a latte. What next? Having central heating?
  5. £2 a ticket and 100% pickup over there which for the first time I can remember includes everyone picking up their own tickets rather than just the lead booker.
  6. Normally I'd agree but a lot of these issues stem from McCall's decisions. The goalkeeping situation is dreadful and it's down to McCall. He signed Mitchell who it's clear isn't up to it and seems to have wrecked the little confidence Sneddon had at the same time. He went into the season with an unfit overweight Brownlie and Akinola who is a shambles now as our defensive backup and spent the money elsewhere on the squad including paying compensation for Fitzpatrick who may as well not be here now. None of us know for sure but I don't think playing a half fit Tiffoney for him to break down continually has helped his injury problems either. To be honest there's bigger issues than McCall right now but he deserves a decent chunk of blame for the situation on the pitch.
  7. Scott High will be ineligible for the next competitive u21s games so he'd be gone from the squad the same as the rest of the players in that situation.
  8. Didn't realise Jude Smith is playing regularly for Newcastle's u21s/23s, now we've got another young keeper to pin our hopes on since the likes of Slicker don't seem to be up to much yet.
  9. U21 squad announced, probably rules out some of them for the Turkey game unless there's drop outs when Clarke announces it next week. Hayden Hackney sounds made up.
  10. 4 match package last time was £92 North/South and £72 East/West for Armenia, Ireland and Ukraine x 2 so £7 more per game this time round for the package and £5 more per ticket if buying matches individually. Away games other than Georgia might be a struggle for anyone on low points although if Spain choose a big stadium that might drop points a bit too. Nations League A in 2024 should be decent for away trips since we should be playing big sides who'll give us a decent allocation. If we qualify for euro 2024 the membership should be justified for that alone for that as if we're getting allocations of 10k+ in Germany near enough any member who wants a ticket will get one.
  11. He's that far out the picture Arsenal won't even give him a top that's in one piece.
  12. The number of people who go to the likes of Moldova and don't set foot in Hampden is minimal. We got the same argument when the SFA brought in points for home games and largely it's the same people getting away tickets that always got them bar a fair few who live abroad and used to do away games only. When people buy away tickets for points with no intention of going they'll just do the same for women's games and if you base points on attendance rather than purchase it'll just skew the system in favour of people who live in the central belt and don't need to take annual leave or spend a fair bit of money on travel to and from Hampden. You essentially just shift the time and means argument from Chisinau to attending 5 or so extra games a year in Glasgow on midweek evenings. Ultimately none of this really matters anyway as none of these changes are happening until January 2025 at the earliest now they've announced the renewals.
  13. A club with a £215k loss said they didn't want any fundraising from an organisation which could very feasibly have raised a high 5 or low 6 figure sum for them every year. Completely normal behaviour.
  14. Is there oil under the bing since club assets have increased by £9.3m this year?
  15. There's still 3 Nations League games against top sides, another potential friendly in October 2023, potential euro 2024 playoffs if we don't finish in the top 2 in qualifying to get the £5 discount on tickets. If you go to all the games anyway then essentially the £5 discount per ticket just pays for your membership and then anything else you use it for is a bonus. I get more benefit out of it than most since I go to most away games but tbh I think the £45 is worth it just to have a pick of the better seats in the North stand on the opening day of the members sale which are all gone before any public sale. 7th December it opens up to new members.
  16. There's no saving between the 5 match package and the individual games so you could just not buy tickets to the England game.
  17. We need to play friendlies on the dates we don't have qualifiers due to being in a 5 team group and the date we have empty for a friendly is midweek so there's not much the SFA can do about 1) playing a friendly and 2) it being on a Tuesday. England is one of the better options they could have picked in order for it not to be completely shite, especially when options are limited by the fact most other nations are playing qualifiers on or around this date.
  18. Confirmed, chance for England to get a scalp against one of the Nations League A big boys.
  19. Dapo and Dire are brothers who both came through at Rangers with Dire going to Man City and is in their youth teams just now and Dapo going to Watford before moving to Oostende in the summer there. Dire was always the higher rated one.
