  1. Typically tight game today. I'm glad McGrath didn't play Ireland's second game as he looked knackered when he came back last time. Also hoping Millar and Erhahon are back in the XI. Not sure how Dunne is getting on, but I'd be tempted to bring him in for McCarthy if fit. My XI, assuming fitness all round: Jak Fraser Shaughnessy Dunne Millar Power Erhahon Tanser McGrath Ronan Brophy
  2. Wingbacks are rare as hell. If that's our system, then we should do whatever we can to keep hold of decent ones.
  3. f**k, I'd forgotten about that. And they were chasing a deficit at the time so he was only actually wasting their time. Absolute incredible scenes.
  4. Disappointing outcome, tbh. We all know the real value here would have been in GvB turning them down after a couple weeks' dithering, leaving Rangers high and dry and retrieving their target list from the bin. This is no fun whatsoever and I think he'll be decent for them.
  5. To be fair I'd forgotten how good Livi's midfield was. Can someone bell Power, Ronan and McGrath and tell them not to bother turning up?
  6. The socks are different and, I believe, the Paisley pattern itself is subtly different. It's basically the same, though.
  7. Yeah, I went for 1. Bit too much white on it, but the Paisley pattern is class. Should be on every shirt we make, tbh.
  8. That right? There was some videos after the Dundee game as well. Not ideal. Our away fans have built a pretty good rep for a number of reasons so I'd hate for that to sour.
  9. Decent stop from the header towards the end. Tait, I think, on the end of a long ball from Alnwick.
  10. The hilarious thing being they'll have to put up with that for years because of Davidson's stellar first season.
  11. I wasn't really complaining, more laughing at his heads gone for being booked. Like McGrath's yellow a few minutes before when you looked like you had men over. McGrath knew what he'd done, accepted the card and moved on. He even patted the ref on the back. Rooney, however, clearly has issues and didn't.
  12. The quick throw-outs must be a noted feature of our game because Dundee were hammering into Alnwick last week too.
  13. That fucking heads gone from Rooney at the end there as if he hadn't just planted his shoulder into Alnwick's chin. p***k.
  14. It wasn't confirmed afaik. Our physios are fucking magic, mind. He was only out for a couple weeks after dislocating his shoulder; JDH was back was sooner than his initial prognosis suggested last season
  15. That squad was a real rollercoaster of quality. Obviously Thommo's injuries played their part: if he'd scored more than a few goals that season then between him and McLean we might have been ok.
  16. The beauty of the internet is that their location doesn't really matter.
  17. I clicked all those boxes knowing full well what I was getting.
  18. Surprised nobody's started this thread, they're usually such good craic. 0-0.
  19. Sometimes - very rarely - I watch us play teams and it's not stressful because I don't actually feel like the opposition will score. Dundee fans must have felt like that yesterday. For all that possession we were creating absolutely nothing of note. Also - and both McAllister and Ronan were guilty of this - but we had players bursting forward with the ball, carrying it 20/30 yards, but instead of looking to play a killer ball or pick out Brophy, we just opted for a shite shot instead. It was a fairly brainless performance from start to finish, tbh.
