The wind we have now is much the same as we will have tomorrow night, it'll ruin the game completely is it goes ahead. Unless there is a 50% drop-off - and the BBC is forecasting 60-62 mph currently, The game could be called off by 10am tomorrow morning.

My last experience of Ibrox was when the whole of the front part of the stand was for away fans, spent the game seeing stuff getting chucked from the upper section, had to listen to the songbook.
We lost a goal where the referee was in the Ayr wall pushing it back when Gascoigne hit a free kick early, somehow it stood.
After the game, spent the journey from the ground to the bus with Rangers fans ungraciously celebrating beating a part time club like a Cup final win, despite one of their players transfer fees being enough to cover Ayrs playing budget for a decade.
Did not enjoy. ️ one star.

From Robbos post, there will be follow up interviews this week. I am guessing Today/tomorrow to meet Smiths projected timeline of the middle of the week.

My favourite Duncan George "tackle" was on Tony Rougier. We were 1 down and Rougier was just gliding by everyone with the ball with ease. Until Duncan went in with what looked like a waist high tackle. Rougier was fine but never went by anyone for the rest of the game.
Jim Dick booting Gary Holt into the Killie dugout was also a personal favourite
Duncan George broke Terry Hurlocks ribs and Trevor Steven’s toe in the Rangers game.
We played Celtic in the league cup when Stainrod was manager, John Burrage walked out of the club the night before the game after shipping 15 goals in 3 games preseason.
It was in the morning paper that if they didn’t get a loan keeper, Stainrod would be in goal.
Celtic never had a sniff all game and Duncan George dominated the midfield before dislocating his shoulder twatting (I think, John Collins) we lost 2-0 in the end, Andreas Thom scored on his debut for Celtic.1 -

I'm sure that he has previously said that he doesn't want to be manager full-time.
He said in the post match he will be able to step up and help the new manager or step back and not help depending on the new manager. He’s not interested “this time”

Swept from a barbers floor and glued to his nut every morning is pushing the limit of the word transplant pretty far.

Can we just bin Tuesday's game already? Winds to be just as bad as today.
It will 100% off, it’s to be 60mph winds on Tuesday night.

Bowyer/Courts will want £1500/£2000k probably that leaves money over for a new set of full backs, striker and maybe a new midfielder anything left over can go into getting the bits of the stand that were put on hold done quicker.
Mark Roberts was on £40k
Any Ayr manager would struggle to break the £60k pa I would guess

A Celtic fan I know said he’d be surprised if Brown took the Ayr job or any on the west of Scotland as he’d been trying to get away from it for the last few years.
would be a bit of a pisser if one of his first games was at Ibrox, getting a routine tanking.0 -
It’ll be the Viaplay game, weird time. Won’t go, haven’t gone to Ibrox since Darren Henderson scored.

Having watched the highlights from yesterday, it’s quite ironic that Rose creating space to get the shot away was a result of his horrendous first touch.

For once I want a boring draw in the cup, we have enough drama going on without an Old firm/Kilmarnock circus going on at the same time.

Derek Young was supposed to be there today. Didn't see him but make of that what you will
Darren.
Has shown to be a capable manager at a couple of clubs now. Would be interesting rather than exciting appointment. Been competent for a number of years as well. much like Murphy at Annan.1 -

The first hour today was the most bored I’d been at a football match in years. Absolutely turgid, uneventful guff.
Apart from A couple of speculative efforts and McCallister getting made an arse of, nothing happened, not a dreadful performance. Just boring.
Once we went 2-0 up, the team started to actually play some football and we ended up comfortable winners.
Folk booing McGinty, Smith or both was weird when they presented McGinty with his award. Rose sticking his fingers in his ears when he scored, if he thinks the criticism of the team, or even worse, him has been unjust, he can f**k off now. Stunk the place out since he joined and had the lack of self awareness to celebrate like that. He and the team could have used today as a clean slate but that kind of stuff can f**k right off.
No defensive errors that led to opportunities, We were passed around for a lot of the game and couldn’t get the ball back. We had a better shape though and Whyte made substitutions that Bullen would never had made, McKenzie made a big difference once he came on, Rose was effective and actually looked capable for once.
Had low expectations today and they were surpassed by a small margin.0 -

The last part gives it away as nonsense IMO, given the entire coaching staff have other jobs.
Glendinning is freelance I think, the goalkeeping coach is full time, Whyte is employed by the academy, as is Tam Tait who is part time anyway.
Current team 42 has the following staff plus Mark Kerr as first team coach.

He basically said not to believe all these people itk as a lot were spouting nonsense
I said that as well and I’m brave enough(not employed by the club) not to delete it

Correct me if I'm wrong but did McGeady not say he was calling around clubs in the summer trying to get loans in? if thats the case it's not just Mathie and Glendinng dealing with transfers, would be utter madness not to have the head coach/manager have at least some say in recruitment.
He said on open goal he spent the afternoon phoning round contacts trying to get midfielders in the deadline due to the injuries and one contact at Reading, Noel Hunt maybe, came up with Jay Senga.
I think it was more helping out in a crisis rather than part of his role.0 -
He posted the name of the top 3 candidates, the winning numbers in tomorrows 50/50 and who wins the shootout at half time

I don’t think we have played Celtic for 20 years and I don’t think we have been at Parkhead since the 80s.
