I know you’re pure excited about the big game but it’s a whole two weeks away, we know you’ve got nothing else to look forward to before then but we really need to concentrate on our upcoming game with Hibernian in the League Cup. It’s the round where all the diddy teams are out. If you’re stuck for football perhaps see if Falkirk are up for a friendly as they’ve nothing on next weekend either.

Aye as a Fanbase like most clubs around the country we bemoan the lack of interest in the local town, 1700 isn’t going to catapult us into a world beating team but it’s a wee step in the right direction. Great to see so many young fans coming along last couple of seasons as they’re ultimately the ones you need to attract. I’m not too bothered how many are children’s tickets as they’re far from free, it costs parents in snacks, drinks, merchandise etc and if they enjoy it you get future fans who hopefully one day bring their own children. I work with a guy who used to take his kids to the odd game he’s bought his first season ticket, says his kids love going to games.

Pretty much in line with the conversations we had on the way back. Watching the match Thistle for me played the slicker football that should win you the game, we looked more disjointed and it showed we were missing a few key players (when do we not these days ). However there were chances at both ends that were fairly equal and both sides could have and should have scored more. Obviously Thistle will feel they lost two points while Raith will feel they won a point but a draw was probably about right on chances created. All in all it was an entertaining game and even at 2-0 it was a good viewing. Interesting to see how both teams do in their next fixtures.

Great signing for you bags of experience and will definitely do a job for Morton, would happily have kept him at Raith but he was unwilling to accept our contact offer.

Have Cowdenbeath and Dundonald given up their bye to the second round? Thought it was only Rovers and Kelty in Round 1.

f**k they festival c***s . Naw decent draw in terms of a pay day and a good day out. As you say festival could make travel a wee bit difficult but first world problems. Hibs will be strong favourites but are a bit more bearable than the Old Firm so all to play for. Slim margins we could easily be out with Dundee or Accies still in so let’s enjoy yet rollercoaster.

Decent payday and a day out in Edinburgh. It’s also a winnable tie on paper as Hibs are always capable of Hibsing it. Can’t say I’m disappointed with the draw. Win or lose its decent for us.

Great to see, interesting to know how this compares to other clubs in the division. Club are certainly doing something’s right just now with improved social media, popular shirts and a bit more interest in the local area. Now we just need the team to have a good season.

Still can’t make my mind up on the new shirts, think it’s the collars that are bothering me. The away top is definitely an improvement on last years Pink one and that Red and White stripes one we had. Nice of Las Palmas to invite us for a friendly when was the last time we left Scotland pre season? We rarely seem to travel far for it.

The fact she turned down their offer of hush money is one that seems lost on many people defending Goodwillie. It has never been about financial gain or even financial compensation for Denise Clair. She has always wanted justice for the crime that was committed against her and to my knowledge she personally has never received a single penny following her horrendous ordeal. That combined with what is written in the transcripts leaves me with little doubt DG and DR are absolutely guilty of Rape. There is little defence when you factor in the levels of intoxication of both sides. Think it’s a bit more expensive than it was but it’s hardly extortionate pricing provided the quality is good. Buy snacks at any entertainment venue and you’ll always pay a premium price.
