  1. Just ordered a big new TV for the living room. Coming tomorrow.
  2. Could just be a cameo with Walter White doing his Ned Flanders thing with the moustache and sweater. Washing Saul's car, say.
  3. The word Gullible does not appear in the Oxford English Dictionary.
  4. A race of two halves. Before the red flag was good because of the drying track. After the flag normal Monaco service resumed.
  5. When I was a teenager our Jack Russell terrier brought a hedgehog into the house and tried to kill it. It stank and was covered in fleas. Cut the dogs mouth.
  6. Said to the kids "That's Flea!" Scott even googled it. Yes, it was Flea. Kids had no clue who Flea was but impressed anyway.
  7. Poor hamsters. We know that covid hit their sperm count, now this.
  8. You have done wonders this week. Here is your punishment.
  9. Pretty sure I shagged that in the 90s
  10. Monkhouse was light years better than Carr.
  11. Grass cut. There was a dead bird in the long grass and I mowed it. Disgusting.
  12. 4 day week next week. Nice weather this weekend. Chinese takeaway for dinner tonight. Skiving off work early to go cut my grass.
  13. In the last episode, Fring was handing over a giant cheque to kids on a basketball court. It had 2004 on the date, so to my mind it is set in 2004.
  14. Reading the past few pages has made me think - was there a time when stand up comedy was really good? As a kid in the 80s I remember seeing Billy Connolly videos and he was very funny at the time. And then in the 90s a touch of Jerry Sadowitz was always welcome, if a bit grim at times. Bob Monkhouse was excellent. They started showing the show The Comedians on one of the satellite channels, repeats of the show that was apparently must-watch TV in the 70s. My parents watched these and I remember watching some too but found it pretty dire. Englishman, Irishman, Scotsman jokes, racist jokes and so on. I guess I just didn't find these funny - you need to be of a certain mindset to "join in" with that I suppose. Nothing since, say, 2000 has made me want to see someone live. Michael McIntyre can go f**k himself rigid. These comedians nowadays exist to get a gig on some pisspoor panel show on the Dave channel. My brother has been to see Kevin Bridges and says he is good but I doubt any new comedy will give me the same sense of excitement as watching Billy and Albert for the first time as a kid.
