I can understand why Robinson made the change he did at 3-2, but it really backfired and killed our chances of getting back into it. It didn't actually make us more attacking, because we completely lost the midfeild. Thought Hearts were really good, especially Halkett, Haring, Baningime and Boyce, who was motm for me. I actually also thought Simms was really good, surprised some Hearts fans didn't tbh. For Saints, Ronan, Brophy and Gogic played well. In the end, there aren't many Hearts players who wouldn't get a game for St Mirren, they are clearly a better team, but I think we can be very dissapointed with the goals we lost. We can defend far better than that.

For some reason St Mirren fans aren't allowed to buy tickets today so whatever we've sold now is it. Don't know if it's the same for Hearts.

Aberdeen would be a big draw for a lot of our players right now. Big wage increase, bigger club and you do get the impression a lot of our players do really like Goodwin, although to be honest, I had heard a few rumours that it wasn't always the happiest squad behind closed doors. I suppose you'll get that with any manager though. Anyway, if Aberdeen weren't sniffing around Alnwick it would be borderline negligence from them considering he's a keeper they should be able to afford fairly easily, who is massively better than the guy they currently have.

France are rattled here. We've profited from a couple of these in recent years where they lose composure and start doing really stupid things. Wales have a big chance here.

Wales haven't done anything, everything they've had has been from Carley. France absolutely destroying the Welsh scrum at the start and Carley point blank refusing to give a pen set the tone.

Matt Carley is a real leveller here in Cardiff. France won't be getting many 50/50s here.

Yeah, I'm pretty nervous about tomorrow as well. I think it's Luke Pearce refereeing, who tried to shaft us other there before (the "I've got a feeling he dropped it" one was a belter), so I expect we will be up against it on that front and things could get very tense. I'm OK with the team we've picked, I agree we probably need to start as solidly as possible and make sure we keep Italy out before going for it a bit more in the second half. Can see Hastings, Russell and Tuipoloto as the midfield later in the game if things are going well.

He definitely struggled on the left side of the back 3, but I thought he looked OK in the back four and gets forward OK. I think he's a bit quicker than Tait as well, and possibly a slightly better defender. Tait is OK as well, solid enough. I think he's a bit more dangerous in the opposition box than Fraser. I don't think there is much in it to be honest, they've both had good games and bad games, and both cost and saved us goals this season. I actually think what might have done it for Fraser a wee bit was that wild tackle against Hearts where he should have been sent off, just before Ronan was.

To be honest, I don't think we are going to get top six now, I think we've left ourselves with a bit too much to do. Realistically we need to beat both Dundee United and Motherwell, especially considering our horrendous goal difference. I could see us taking 3 or 4 points, but not all 6. I think we blew it in Dingwall unfortunately. Even a draw there would have had us in a good position.

That's a proper relegator of a goal really. Dundee clinging on desperately for a point they didn't deserve, only to lose it with practically the last touch? They aren't coming back from that.
