  1. Just bought what looked to be the last bottle in my local Lidl on my way home from work- looking forward to trying it. Enjoying a bottle of Orkney's Puffin which I picked up at the same time. Very nice with a spicy aftertaste.
  2. I saw him at Strathclyde Union many years ago, maybe nearly 30 so he must be a decent age now. I think there were only a few walk-outs, he definitely sets out to shock from the start. I certainly doubt any student unions would be prepared to book him these days. [emoji1]
  3. Wordle 209 4/6 [emoji833][emoji833][emoji833][emoji833] [emoji833][emoji833] [emoji833][emoji833] I'm quickly realising you need to get off to a decent start or you're struggling.
  4. Wordle 208 3/6 [emoji833][emoji833] [emoji833][emoji833] I got there but it took a long long time between lines 2 and 3!
  5. Cheers. Not been much speculation recently regarding him after a bit of a frenzy. Not sure how it will play out, Dundee United seem to have stopped conducting their business in the papers.
  6. This was my second time trying the game and managed to get it on the last attempt. Quite pleased with that considering the quirk.
  7. It's my daughter that does that, not my wife. Drives me potty - it's not as though there's not normally enough noise going on in the kitchen.
  8. I'm stunned by that, really didn't see it coming. It shows a real buy-in from Alexander and the club for the plan to take the club forward which I'm becoming more optimistic about as he seems to be bringing better quality on longer deals.
  9. I've held off on the Morton ticket also but am now wondering about buying one just in case they decide to hold a ballot of those who have already bought.
  10. I liked Caffrey's but remember it giving me stonking hangovers.
  11. From those highlights it looks as though the disallowed goal was for offside when it was a Dunfermline player who played it to him.
  12. Lewis Grabban scoring the winner for Forest against Arsenal. I felt ancient when they called him the veteran who will be 34 on Wednesday. I certainly wouldn't have predicted his career from his handful of appearances for us.
  13. Is that Morton hitting form right on time for playing us or are Dunfermline just absolutely honking?
  14. To be fair, Eddie Nolan had a good pedigree and I expected him to get a few games and do OK. I see he's playing for Waterford now.
  15. Eh? He didn't go to 'Well. He was a Motherwell player who had a loan spell at Arbroath. He has had an underwhelming career. Looked very promising as a youngster but unfortunately hasn't progressed as well as expected.
  16. He seemed to be highly rated at Wednesday so should be a good addition to our midfield. That probably also means he'll be well outside our wage range so he won't be staying permanently.
  17. Not that I think there's any chance of any of them being involved but surely if you see Motherwell as best value at 250/1 you'd be better with Aberdeen or Hibs? Both listed at 500/1 and both below us in the league table.
  18. Hope you're having a good night. Happy New Year to you all, it's 3am and I'm off to bed after a good few Fyne Ales and Hazy Janes. OK, a few whiskies as well - cheers!
  19. Family whisky tasting tonight. Blind taste and try to identify which is which and then rate them in order of preference. Spectacularly wrong as every year. My favourites were the two Caoil Ila's (James Eadie and First Cask) but what surprised me was that I really like the Ben Bracken 18yo but all three of us put it in last place.
