    My mate had an operation on a slipped disc years ago, and ended up with in an infection where the scar tissue wrapped itself around the spinal cord. If they hadn't caught it in time he would have been paralysed.

    We're in east lothian, and while it was annoying at first being bracketed in with Edinburgh, it's obviously been done to stop a "ripple effect" being created - pubs open east lothian would mean people coming into region from Edinburgh and Midlothian, there are more than enough ample transport links for this to happen.

    It’s a bit of a pain but there is f**k all we can do. If they left the pubs and whatnot open here (east lothian), you'd get every c**t from other areas swarming into the region.

    She'll have a packet of crisps or a biscuit with her lunch, and will put her plate or bowl in the sink with the empty packet or wrapper still in it, rather than put in the bin. Also she leaves the tops off the milk bottles lying on the worktop rather than putting then in the bin.

    I've got a bit of respect for members of the travelling community, we have a few customers from said community, and they are they are really sound people. Always got time for a good chat and are not a hassle to Deal with.

    All I've done and known since I left school is warehouse/builders merchants work. I'm 43 and pissed off with it all now. Been with the same employer for 9 years and I'm seriously considering a career change, but I don't know what I'd want to do!! I had thought about driving jobs in the past, but driving around Edinburgh would just make me more angry than I can already be at times.

    Same here, but we are meant to be going to Keswick. East lothian is a lesser hotspot than Edinburgh, its daft that we are getting chucked in with them.
