That's Arnott away on loan to East Kilbride. No surprise he's gone out if their sending hom that far down the system you've got to think he's not kicking on at all.

Yeah, thats a surprisingly low level for him to drop to. The lad was rightly called out by McGlynn as his player of the year as he looked excellent when he first came in, but he's not kicked on at all and probably won't be here next year.

Don't think it's that surprising,  he didn't stand out in the Highland League last season.

By all accounts he looked better at Bonnyrigg in the back end of the season, and looked decent at that level when I saw him aginst Elgin on the last day.

The systems we play and the players we have in his position there wasn't a chance of him getting any game time. Could be a case of getting him guaranteed game time in a holding midfield role. If he adapts we might see him again but I very much doubt it. He'll probably be at Falkirk next season.

Agree he was the pick, but now, much like Young, his time here appears pretty much over...unless we get the reserve side rolling and are willing to stash a couple of development players there rather than just using it for youth and non-starter playing time.

Hard to argue with that one. When he first broke through I really, really thought Arnott was going to be a mainstay of the side in years to come but for whatever reason it’s just not materialised. Murray has spoken a few times about being fair to players and if they don’t look like they’re going to get in the side then it’s only right that we let them go and play elsewhere. Wish him all the best at East Kilbride.
